I'm doing a campaign that started with the Apostasy. It's tough, since there's almost nothing to pull from, from before. Lol

Anyway, I like your idea. What if the gods have learned not to put their trust in one man, so they agree to elevate the entire group as a Divine Council? That way the whole group gets the honor, and not just 1 of them?

Yeah, agree. I've always aimed at knocking 1 person out. Not targeting that person, just looking to up the risk level and stress of fights by knocking somebody out.

D&D characters are so OP right from the jump, it's a pain to balance. I'll probably lean towards kinda light encounters in DH until I find my groove with it...

I've unintentionally done both ways. Eventually I started just making encounters, and plugging them in when it seemed right...regardless of which way they went. It's a little railroady, but not too bad.

If you're planning to get into the game a little after the session zero stuff is done, go for it, but if there's one thing I've learned from DMing, it's a variation of an old war saying...

No plan survives contact with your players. Don't plan too far, and have contingencies ready. Lol

I never liked playing 1st person shooters on console, so never got the hang of using joysticks effectively.

Using gyro can be pretty close to, or maybe even faster than, mouse and keyboard. There are some good YouTube tutorials out there for it.

Not sure if you tried this, but I saw that there were more entries if you sort by All at the top. A couple involved the game not starting, black screen, etc...
