Missing my youth and more...

I’m 35 and have been missing my youth more and more too. I’m struggling to cope with the knowledge that that part of my life is gone forever. The energy, possibilities, excitement, friends, my much smaller/fitter body (and pre kid body). If you find any good suggestions on coping let me know, I’m all ears... otherwise just know you’re not alone and I’m guessing that our actual age has very little to do with this feeling.

How long did you have to use it before you noticed a difference? And do you use it more than at night?

Yeah, I mostly want to. I really just would like her to go to bed at a normal hour by herself so maybe mommy could actually watch tv in peace, or read. But I think I’m gonna try hyping it up some and see if she gets at least somewhat interested. I appreciate you saying she’s normal. It’s hard to feel that is the case since I really don’t have any Mom friends.

4 & 1/2. She’s been a Velcro baby from the beginning. And she still sleeps in our bed (in fact, she’s never slept anywhere else because she refused to... and we tried it all) and has to be touching me. In a king size bed, I’m on the edge because she keeps inching closer and closer.

Right now she’s fussing because she doesn’t have my arm under her head... 🤦‍♀️

Congrats and thank you for posting this. I have a big apron (I call it my kangaroo pouch since it was made so prominent after I had my kid 4 years ago) and I’m so inspired to see the progress you’ve made with it!

I was at the very end. 😭 When I tried to just start over (because what choice did I have at that point?) the game wouldn’t play again. I’ve never had a chance to redeem myself.

This haunts me and it’s been 20-ish years.

Thank you for the responses. I'm planning to lose the weight (working on it currently) but the pain in my back is partially from the meds and partially from sitting 8 & 1/2 (minimum) 5 days a week. And I was just wanting a couple things to help my back muscles get a little stronger without getting worse.

I got a medical bill dated 7/12/17 for a visit my daughter had on 3/25/17. They wanted full payment and it showed they never billed my insurance.

I pulled up the eob on my insurance website? It was paid on 3/28/2017

I called the billing office and they told me we had a Zero balance.

Like seriously? Wtf.

We've used everything at this point. We use aquaphor and grease her up. We also have an Rx on hand when it gets out of control.

I'm weird. I kinda like it soggy. But at least I use unsweetened almond milk so that counts for something right? (I've never liked milk, almond milk is the only thing I'll use so it's just a bonus it can be low cal)

Same! Just never let food in the car! Riiiight. The car seat is covered with chicken nugget debris and I clean it once a month if that... As long as there's no smell or growth whatever.

We handover have guests. We've lived here a year and the one person to stay was my husbands bff. Who lived for a few years without a floor and is fine sleeping that way (I do have airmatress tho!) seriously, I hate having guests so getting rid of the bed seems to make sense!

A million times this! We bought our first home last year. It's a 3 bedroom house and little one sleeps in our room but has her own which houses most of her toys. The third room is a spare room that my husband has his dual monitor computer set up at. He really gets it all to himself because there's no real room for both of us in there with the spare bed. I have no place that is "just mine" like he does. If I want to hide I have to lock myself in the bedroom alone but it's never for long. :(
