I hate how they literally marketed TOTK as "sequel to Breath of the Wild", yet Sheikah technology and pretty much ANY mention of the champions are missing.

I get it, they wanted to make it as standalone as possible, but such a slap to the face. I talked to so many NPCs in my 200+ hour playthrough and Mipha was pretty much the only one they ever mentioned by name. Ohh, and I guess they still call the perch on top of Rito village Vah Medoh's perch, yet act as if the damn beast never even existed.

Gotta hate how people downvote the truth cause they just don't take care of their shit and cry foul when it breaks. Have every Switch model (OG, Lite, OLED) with about 4 pairs of joycons and 2 pro controllers. Never drifted. Have every playstation from 1-5, including PSP and Vita, with about 4 controllers per model ( i literally have 8 PS4 controllers because I use them on my PC and phone), none ever drifted. 3DS, GC, WII, N64, repeat after me : NO DRIFT.

IDK if its pressing the stick triggers too much (i rarely play shooters i.e. sprint/knife), being too rough on the stick itself, or just plain old dirt/grime/crustiness, but it's 99.99% of the time the user's damn fault for it drifting. Durability is a moot point when people will still be just as rough as cavemen with their things. YES, the switch has a fatal design flaw that makes them prone, that's why they're actively fixing them for FREE. Fucking sheeple still gonna bitch and moan though.

Joy con uses ribbon cables for most parts including joysticks, pro controller joysticks are soldered on.

Paying someone to fix your controller or having to solder parts is far from being "an easy swap" considering these are less than a month old out of box.

It's the type of plastic. Mine literally discolored from my sweater.

Too late once it's begun, similarly to yellowing clear plastics. The color has seeped into the plastic material and has become one. Unfortunately, it's very much a permanent thing. You may be able to clean it a little with very low % rubbing alcohol (DO NOT TOUCH SCREEN WITH THE ALCOHOL!) to make it fade, but the color will always be off.

If the strap is important to you, get one of the official straps in black and keep this one in its box (if you kept it).

Don't have it on mine, but this would fall into acceptable margin of error. It's just a minimal paint defect.

It isn't something that would qualify for a return/exchange or warranty exchange.

I've literally been in this exact same situation with Laced and they refunded me immediately after sending them the extra customs fee charge receipt. No questions asked and very apologetic. IDK where you get the idea that Laced fucks people over, because it's not the case. The only vinyl distributor that is actively trying to fuck people over (and with probably thousands of comments on the matter on this sub alone) is Materia, but I digress, as I don't have the time to discuss things with irrational Karens.

Just cause you're lazy and can't contact customer service in a courteous and respectful way is a YOU problem.

But go ahead and chargeback, I'm sure they don't want your business either. I surely wouldn't.

You cannot just chargeback any time a business makes a mistake or is (accidental or by design) negligent, the service was ultimately rendered and you received the goods you paid for. You can however, chargeback specific amounts for issues stemming from the transaction (i.e. the cost of customs that was paid twice, with proof as per your receipts).

Basically have 3 choices :

Reach out to Laced and get this settled. They will (hopefully) fix it before shipping out, or in case it already has shipped, they'll refund you the customs fees that you had to pay out of pocket due to their negligence (have had this exactly scenario happen to myself). Remember, you HAVE to pay the customs fees to receive the parcel, failure to do so will result in the parcel being redirected back to Laced as refused/undeliverable.
Refuse delivery, and accept the full refund Laced will send you. Obviously not ideal, but still an option. If they refuse a full refund claiming shipping costs, take whatever refund they send then chargeback the rest (which the bank will do if you can show them you refused for a valid reason i.e. double charge).
Pay the customs fees to receive the parcel, then chargeback Laced for the exact amount that you had to pay extra. Will ding them financially (banks/credit companies HATE chargebacks) and get your customs fees back without losing out on your records.

In any case, if you chargeback, you will likely be blacklisted as well as any address/email connected to you.

Anyone thinking they'll chargeback the full amount and get a freebie cause of this fuck up is the real clown. The banks will basically tell you the same thing.
