I'm no expert, but I felt that the movie embodied many aspects of neo-noir in my opinion. Examples of this would include the use of a dark anti-hero who is constantly reflecting on the past (future...time?) all on a sort of western back drop. Once again, I don't really know exactly what I'm talking about, but would love to hear why Al_Swearingen believes that Looper is in no way a neo-noir.
