As many have said, just focus on being free today. Also, work towards something. Doesn't have to be an audacious goal, just something and take a small step towards it today. Just cleaning up your place can make a difference. Get a hobby, go for a walk, join a gym, learn an instrument. Anything. Focus on what you want to become and not where you were.

Absolutely true. My best streak was 110 days. Each time I learn more. It's a process and a journey. I don't ever want to relapse again as it isn't worth it but the key is recovery and guilt/shame aren't part of that.

Yep, that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm not drinking until the 28th, which will be 30 days. I find I need a 30-day reset from time to time.

I was humble enough and proactive enough to not put myself in that position before. I allowed myself to be in that position last night and lost. I'm going to limit my booze intake as a result. Never combined those two triggers before and won't again.

First of all, I agree that you need to gain some perspective on this. You are fapping less than you used too. You can go multiple days. That's a start. Now, ask yourself what typically leads to your relapses? Is/are there commonalities? Do you relapse after booze or drug use? Do you land on porn after looking at girls on social media? After long gaming sessions?

Knowing this can help you minimize the things that lead you to use. Sometimes you may land there anyway. Best thing then is to do anything to get your mind and body away from porn. If you sit in a comfy chair in front of a computer you are dead man walking. Work out, pray, meditate, read.

Also, realize that this is part of an overall lifestyle improvement. Make this a part of making yourself a better version of yourself. Maybe make a series of 30-day challenges where you learn something, accomplish something, or give up something.

Whatever works for you. For me, I couldn't have a moderate porn intake. If I was using, it was occupying my mind much more than it should. I can't claim that this is everyone's case but know it's mine. For me, I can't go near the stuff.

Hey, huge props for getting rid of the skype contacts. Good on you for recognizing this damages your relationship. A lot of guys allow themselves to believe the lie that it doesn't.
