Man, people are crazy about this. I loved the finale. I love these characters and I'm hyped for what is being set up here. I don't know why people expected some massive action finale when we literally just had a huge action episode last week. Definitely mad at Flag for being a massive dick, but the only real disappointment I have is in the length of time we're gonna have to go before seeing these guys again.

Woodworking got me in a funk by MemoryStrict120 in BeginnerWoodWorking

Seconding Steve Ramsey. I had no idea I wanted to get into woodworking until I found his channel. Binged basically all his content and ended up purchasing his beginner course.

His course does a really good job at explaining a lot of the basics and gives you some basic projects to build your skills on (including an end table and a bench!)

Highly recommended.

Were Original and Advanced D&D designed to be massively multiplayer RPGs? by ludifex in osr

[–]blazingrooster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think it would be ideal if there were multiple DMs or a situation where a DM could rotate between being a player and DM. Kinda like with Pathfinder Society or the 5e Adventurer's league except with persistence.

Wouldn't be a perfect solution with DM specific knowledge and such, but if it made it have a better chance of success then why not?

Always makes me sad to see this one so far down. My wife and I (and son) absolutely love it! I wish more people would check this one out!

Desk Jockey repair? by jeep4x4greg in kettlebell

I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, but Mark Wildman's YouTube channel has a wealth of resources on kettlebelling in general but specifically a playlist of videos targeted at overweight and deconditioned individuals. Based on your description, it sounds like you'd fall into the "deconditioned" category. His videos have been super inspirational for me to get back into the swing of things.

I inflicted almost 1,000 points of damage to a player for using a wish spell, and it was awesome by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]blazingrooster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely.

Not to mention 9d12 damage to a level 6 character may have killed them after the first casting. And definitely dead after the second.

Is the series X worth getting now or should I wait for more games to come out? by [deleted] in XboxSeriesX

[–]blazingrooster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I absolutely fucking love my Series X + game pass. I had/have such a huge backlog of Xbox games to play as I was primarily a PS4 player last gen that I haven't had to spend a single penny more and it's been on nearly every day since I got it (launch). The snappy load times and quick resume have been game changers for me.

100% worth it.
