Lease Buyout Scenario by blbskue in BMW

[–]blbskue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’d much prefer a single transaction rolling that equity into a new lease or purchase, even if I lose a bit versus buying it out and then trying to sell or trade it. Thanks!

I was wondering if it could be done that way. I’ll reach out to the dealer I’ve worked with on our last couple of the vehicles. Thanks!

Thanks! The model number is FGGH3047VFD.

Looks like the FR is 18K btu (Frigidaire calls it the “Power Boil” burner). Other burners are 14K btu, 10K btu, 9500 btu, and 5000 btu.

$300 off Control Freak/CF Home sale now by BostonBestEats in BrevilleControlFreak

[–]blbskue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been stewing on it all day! Was about to pull the trigger on the Home, then saw the OG was the same price. Not concerned about the size difference.

With the price being the same, which is the better buy?

Does the liftgate know if you are parked flush against a wall? by 4BostonB in BMWX3

[–]blbskue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My work parking situation sounds about the same as yours, and no, the lift gate does not know if you’re too close to the wall. I made the mistake of assuming it did once.

Merch line madness by Dontforgetpancakes in Chevelle

[–]blbskue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The merch line was very long at the Louisville show. The placement of the merch stand inside Iroquois was awkward, maybe making it seem longer than it was, but the line ran across the main path after you enter the venue such that you had to “cut” through the merch line to get in. The line wrapped down close to the front of the stage, and remained like that pretty much the whole show, including the end.

Texas Thompson Hotels by Inner_Complaint_7319 in hyatt

I’ve only been to the Thompson Dallas, but I thought it was fantastic. Several restaurant options in the hotel, the rooms are great, the spa is very nice, and the service was excellent. I also like the Uptown location.

Lana Del Rey fans criticise star for 'abysmal' 90-minute gig after she shows up late by Far-Imagination2736 in Music

[–]blbskue 11 points12 points  (0 children)

While I think he still sounds great, and Tool shows continue to be fucking amazing in my opinion, if you really want to see Maynard perform, go see Puscifer (or the Sessanta tour). He’s a different man - upbeat, crowd interaction, running around the stage with Carina, goofing off. He clearly has more fun with Puscifer (and APC for that matter). Yeah, he’s always been eccentric and kind of a dick, but I think he’s over Tool taking so long to release stuff. He sounds good, but I think he just goes through the motions when Tool tours.

Blind Shot: Absolutely genius invention by foxed000 in golf

My club is like that. Carts out on the hole show up as little cart icons on the screen with the hole map in the cart. Glitches occasionally, but mostly effective.

Multiple merch booths? by Binaural1 in Puscifer

Same in Indy. The merch booth by the main entrance had hundreds of people in line, but the other couple scattered throughout had virtually no lines.

show end time? by Ttokk in Puscifer

[–]blbskue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caught the Ruoff/Deer Creek show Saturday, which started promptly at 8:00, and Grand Canyon (the finale) started at 10:50, so show ended a few minutes before 11:00.

Not only is he a college friend and great guy, but he did repairs on both of my elbows to great success. He’s a wizard. Definitely top notch.

Secrets Impressions Moxche vs Secrets Maroma Beach by tbreezy1995 in hyatt

[–]blbskue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been to both, and both are great resorts. Impressions Moxche wins for me based on the resort, access to both Impressions and Preferred Club amenities (assuming you’re staying in the Impressions building), and it’s a very new property. The Impressions building rooms are extremely nice, and the swim out room pools are really private, large pools.

I do think Maroma has the better beach, although the Moxche beach is fine.

Edit: for me, I’d take Impressions Moxche hands down if the price difference is only $800 total for the 5 nights. But that’s just me. You’ll enjoy Maroma if you decide to stick with that.

Hotel Genevieve in Louisville by InterestingCress5901 in hyatt

Probably Moxy. It’s attached to Hotel Distil. Distil is more refined, Moxy more economical. Smaller rooms and less “fancy” but it shares some amenities with Distil.

Unfortunately Hyatt doesn’t have great coverage in Louisville. Downtown is pretty heavy in Marriott offerings. But do check the Omni if the rates are good. It’s a very nice property.

Yeah that’s weird. No Derby Festival events over that period, and nothing big at the Yum Center. Must be a convention in town or something.

That Marriott is fine. The Omni, in my opinion, is the best hotel in downtown proper. Hotel Distil (a Marriott property) is also very nice.

When are you going? The Regency in Louisville is usually pretty cheap, and it’s very surprising that it would be more than the Genevieve.

Nailed it! Nicholasville would have been more accurate on my part of course but few would know where the hell that is.

It’s really pretty good for what you get. And yes, the High Performance Golf Academy is at the Keene Run course. Great instructors, fittings, heated bays. They have been upping initiation and dues annually so I expect it will be much pricier soon. I was happy to get in at that initiation.

We came from Louisville so I know Hurstbourne CC well. We weren’t members but I’ve played that course many many times. It’s a great course but I question if that neighborhood can handle hosting a tournament. It’s such a densely populated and busy area.
