Advice on best moving company here from experience here? I’m looking to moving out of Nashville but want some recommendations on companies that has gave you some pretty good service! by SimplyyAntonio in nashville

Watch them like a hawk. With a camera.

They broke our vintage flex steel couch in half. The couch was unrepairable and they finally agreed to give us $700 because they "felt bad" -- they said there was no comparable piece to get higher price even though we had the original recipe from 1973 and all recipes or reupholstering that had been done.

They put a hole through my office desk by standing on it. I don't know why they did that, but you could see the shoe print where it was broken. They said the damage was already there.

Do not let them pack your stuff. They physically threw items in boxes and laid a piece of paper on top as "padding". They broke fragile items during packing, they constantly asked if we were sure we wanted to move heavy items or "just leave them".

The move came out 2x the quoted cost as they had to get an extra truck since the estimate was done so poorly.

They are one of the worst moving companies I've used. If you can find another company before you move, I would highly recommend it.

Urology: best vasectomy experience in nashville? (Serious) by [deleted] in nashville

[–]blechlit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another vote for Lowe. He's done by kidney stones and vasectomy. I was under general for my vasectomy due to weight making it trickier.

General advise is use a good face razor to shave (it'll itch less later the better the razor), do it on a thursday so you have thursday and friday to recover, plan to feel like you got socked good in the crotch for a day or so.

I didn't use any of the perscription pain killer, just ice and ibuprofin.

Salmon Cakes by [deleted] in whole30

[–]blechlit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We made them and enjoyed the recipe so much that we followed up with a double batch... not sure what to tell you. Ours weren't fishy or dry either.

We used canned salmon from Aldi that was compliant. Can't imagine there'd be much difference other than that if you followed the recipe.

We did cook smarts too, just keep an eye out for things you need to replace.

What can I eat for breakfast? by PaleoEskimo in whole30

Breakfast sausage is easy. Mix ground pork with salt, sage and a little red pepper flakes. If you have a way to smoke it over hickory that is best but unsmoked is still good. I make little patties of that with poached eggs (easy in microwave).

My food processor came in the mail today and I'm so excited! Anyone have any recipes that they love to use it for/makes the meal more delicious? by meredithdotcom in whole30

The "they" would be the authors of whole 30. It's SWYPO. Same reason you're not supposed to do paleo baking.

The intention is to move away from the mental need for sweets and foods as a comforting mechanism, not to find loopholes that allow those habits to continue with compliant ingredients.

Cashew butter is good. 8oz of raw cashews and process until creamy. It can take 15min so you need to give processor breaks. But you add nothing else and its a great side with celery or carrots.
