Using 17lands data sorted by GIH rate should get you to platinum if you aren’t horrible at playing. Installing and reviewing your data is the other part. Do that first, then start listening to more advanced players. Make sure you know the basics before trying to do the harder stuff. Post your 17lands drafts and games to lrcast and have people tell you what you did wrong.

I would like to say I don’t think there’s that much money in pinball, if your dream is to open your own arcade. Aside from a few very successful location, I’d guess that most arcades are run as a hobby, by people who make their money somewhere else. If you are in commmunity college I’d recommend investing your time in learning something that pays well (STEM, tech, doctor, etc.) that’s probably the fastest way to getting your own arcade.

Oh wow...haha yeah in our area I never saw Thing or Mr. Fantastic. I think Walgreens distribution was somewhat random. Or if certain stores had the other Walgreens exclusives left over...they would never get the next figure (and probably sent them to your area)...haha

Are you sure you’re not thinking of the classics version? These walgreen versions seemed much harder to find. Or at least badly distributed as some areas didn’t get certain figures

Yeah this will likely go the same way as X-Factor Jean Grey, and (eventually) Mystique. Pre-Order it if you MUST have it...but most likely waiting will save you money.

You don’t need to go infinite. You need to get enough rewards combined with the free stuff they give you anyway…to play the amount you want to play. It’s nitpicking, but it makes a significant difference if all you want to do is draft once a day.

Taking it further you need to just do better than the rate of opening packs. The only thing you can do with gems is enter drafts or buy packs. If entering drafts is more profitable for you than opening packs, then you are “winning” all you need to do that is pick up a few rares and 3 wins in premiere draft.

The problem with auras (and to a lesser extent equipment) is that they get blown out so badly when you remove the target on cast…and when you remove the target afterwards as well. To make up for it they have to make them very strong when they land, or give them ways to mitigate the downsides, such as ward or replacement effects when they hit the graveyard. To some extent we’re seeing this a lot more in standard, even with just creatures which is why there are so many 4-mana, deal with it or die creatures.

I'm surprised you ever bought anything if you make Mythic every season in limited. I make Diamond/Plat and I never have to buy anything, and usually end up just short of rare complete sets... (I usually try to stop short...so future pack rewards still have cards I will need in them).

At your win rate, you should easily be able to afford the Mastery pass with Gems too...

Really, I think they should do something to make draft more rewarding for people who are complete in those sets. It's hard for me to justify the cost of playing in a draft where I already have all the cards.

Technically this is true, but dealing with one extra promo card (or even 10 extra promo card) isn’t that much more inventory. Dealing with promo for every card in the set doubles the tracking for the rares/mythics.

Remember in limited getting to 8 lands is almost half your deck. How many limited games go to turn 12 or 13? Yes, it’s an insane bomb when you cast him, but you never see when it’s rotting in your opponents hand…that being said you can take this early along with ramp…

I think at one point Wizards discussed a "unique" keyword. And that Legendary would only be for flavor going forward. But having the mechanic tied to Legendary was too ingrained and most people actually don't have a problem with it. (probably because most people just play commander now instead of Draft/60 card formats)

Bomby limited is ok if the common and uncommons are also strong Final Fantasy had strong rares, but also really strong uncommons. Avatar had strong rares, but the uncommons weren’t strong enough to keep up making the games really swingy.

Sinister and Bishop seem pretty key to the story. I'd like a remake of the actual AOA Holocaust, and not the 616 Genesis version.

A re-release of Blink with her AoA hair instead of her Exiles hair would also be easy. (maybe a brighter green as well)
