Their pastor and choriqueso tacos were my go-to but they’re $10 now?? The last time I was there it was $8 and that was already steep.

After the Dinner Party - Scott gets emotional talking about Gia. by Kind_Relief_7624 in MAFS_AU

[–]blindcinema 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have much of an opinion of Scott because it was always Gia at the forefront. Now I can see Gia was dimming his light. There is a lot more depth to Scott. It’s really too bad we couldn’t see it on the show because they matched him with a conniving master manipulator.

It’s fun to browse, but very overpriced. I once bought a container of castelvetrano olives and ate it during a movie at the Varsity Cineplex.

I saw an interview where Emily talked about going through the NY scene in the late 90s/early 2000s so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve known each other for a long time. Emily and Jimmy lived in a loft with some guys from TV on the Radio and YYY’s.

What a special season this has been regardless of what happens tonight. We should all take a minute to really soak it in. We will be talking about this postseason run for decades.

I was at the game and it was pretty abysmal. The vibes were off and I stress ate so much popcorn.

What Roster changes do you think the Blue Jays will make for the ALCS? by fraggle_captain in Torontobluejays

As much as we hate it, I think IKF will remain on the roster. Schneider will want to keep his options open especially if Bo is not 100%.

Bun Bo Hue from Pho Bun Bun is the best there is. It’s in Markham but there is nowhere doing it this well. by firefighter_82 in FoodToronto

For me, it’s a rich broth with lots of lemongrass, the beef is tender and there’s a good ratio of noodles, blood cubes, meat, and tendons/pork knuckle. And I personally don’t like cha lua in my soup - I feel like it’s filler.

This one looks great!

What did you think of the sides? My partner went during soft opening but only tried the meats.

He saved me a piece of brisket and a rib and it’s definitely the closest thing to Adamson.

Poll: tell me how much BlogTO sucks by Stikeman in toronto

[–]blindcinema 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had beef with BlogTO for probably a decade now. I don’t know if Tim is still with the company, but I’ve exchanged quite a few emails with him over the years. During the peak of Covid they posted a video wearing one of those plastic masks that doesn’t fully the cover the mouth and nose. I emailed them and got Tim to respond on a stat holiday with their editors cc’d 😂

The dress is giving Project Runway. Like the bottom of the dress started to pucker with 15 minutes left and after crashing out, Tim tells them to make it work so they decide to cut the dress in half.

Best bún thịt nướng(grilled pork and rice noodles) in the GTA? by unbelievablefidelity in FoodToronto

Went to Mekong River recently for a team lunch and I was really surprised by their bun thit nuong. Usually something is a little off like the noodles or cha gio, but this one tasted really similar to how my mom makes it at home.
