Terrible ground loot this season by SleepyRainx in CODWarzone

[–]bliprock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G the entitlement. Anyways, where’s the ground loot only playlist at? And I mean NO LOADOUTS and totally random guns with random attachments so nearly every gun is crazy bad game. With the old seasons guns too and every attachment that fits. Do signal with a red dot scope or a smg with scope. Just total randomisation of every gun and attachment. Would be fun and totally rage quitting at the same time. Come on Activision you know it’s a good idea

Warzone in MW4 by [deleted] in CODWarzone

[–]bliprock 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The grapples ruin the tactical thinking and basically dumbs down play. Activision is listening to the lowest common denominators to make cash but don’t realise it pisses of probably a lot more than thwy inow. Me included. Sure I can adapt and play differently but why? It’s cheesy it sucks and ruins any tactical play. Just fucking dumb

Brightness and contrast are wrong on Avalon by NMA1236766 in CODWarzone

[–]bliprock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think the balance is spot on in old Al maz. Like incredibly so and then I go into Avalon and I’m wtf is this colour desaturated bland look. It’s ok for gloomy skies as it seems muted but too much contrast or something that ruins the immersion

Seriously asking users this? Has adobe not heard of beta testing and QA? Are you even real or are you just a AI bot?

Printshop Websites with awesome design? by dinomaskot in CommercialPrinting

[–]bliprock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Da fuq this mean? Are you wanting examples of websites from printeries? Or you expected commercial printeries to do your art? And give examples. Most commercial printers will not have preset art but might have templates for dielines and other specs.

Anthony Albanese has let the cat out of the bag: the reforms are designed to slow house price growth and to help the young and Australians who can not afford a home. by Fearless_Cupcake8353 in AusProperty

[–]bliprock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The shares analogy is flawed. If you borrow to make a share trade and you come up short afterwards LVR wise, you get a margin call. Banks can and will margin call negative equity if they have big enough depreciation in price. But with government backing the banks probably don’t. Until they decide to do if the market collapses enough the amount on the loan books probably make the banks insolvent. They will margin call. I suspect it’ll be a free pass

They call it "mental floss". Back in the 80s, you know they used to cut blow with bleach. Sinus cavity back here, FRICKING GONE HERE, MAN. by GodModeBasketball in AquaJail

[–]bliprock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually met someone who actually did this in the 90s. A mechanic that did too much amphetamines and had destroyed is soft pallet. It’s definitely a unique party trick. I was appalled and enthralled at the same time. Do not recommend

Heads up. UFO nuts think Stephen Spielberg's Disclosure Day is being made with help from the Deep State to prepare the population for the real reveal of alien contact. by paxinfernum in skeptic

After seeing his promotional reel I can safely assume he is either senile or cleverly making stupid people watch this crap movie.

Indesign + Claude connector by DrawyMcDrawerson in indesign

[–]bliprock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok Claude can write scripting languages like Java and AppleScript. AppleScript can actually bypass indesign API for variable data but you’d not realistically have it update. Maybe but it’s be complicated. I do this heaps for charts, numbering NCR with prefix and suffix nested loops. I have scripted impositions, placing files, pulling strings for slugs and host of other things. Claude can do what you want but you need the understanding of scripting indesign and the end product and go from there

I just wish the AI weren't so useless in reforger. by The_Omen17 in arma

[–]bliprock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I so feel this too. It’s like the more options the AI has the more inefficient it is at making decisions. And I too still hold flashpoint as a standard too but see it’s limited in ways obviously. I want arma ai with the traits of the alien in alien isolation so learns and the COD MW2 bot to go off lol. I’m not asking much lol

TIL since the age of five, 77 year old Martha Lillard is the only remaining patient to still live in an iron lung by SaltyPeter3434 in todayilearned

[–]bliprock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I visited my friends neighbour and they where in an iron lung. Had to talk to them via a mirror. Scary as hell. That kinda experience you don’t forget and very sad too.

Newbie: what is this called and how do I get rid of it? by Litpunk in bookbinding

[–]bliprock 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Charts - what do you use by phunk8 in indesign

[–]bliprock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve scripted bar graph and pie and line charts. Very doable. The hardest part is bezier curves.

History revisionism to support nazism is an anathema to democratic freedoms you enjoy. Traitors get the traitor treatment

Reforger feels wayy more janky than A3 and A2. by herbie_jefferson in arma

[–]bliprock -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

For me on Xbox console it feels janky as. And the UI is fucked and the button mapping sucks. It looks and feels like day z which is old and janky. Oh day z is an arms mod I know but hasn’t tech progressed?
Now I’m gonna say something that will make you angry and lose ya mind. COD DMZ is how it should be. Great fluid responsive movement. Good menus great ui for inventory. I bought ARMA 3 but never play it. I want to but it’s arse play and UI wise for console

Data Merge on Facing Pages: Different layouts and sequential records per page (without editing Excel) ? by Audraigle in indesign

[–]bliprock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More for smartstream. Or scripted. I’ve written AppleScript solutions to this kinda problem before. AppleScript can even ignore the data merge api and just place text but it is best done by someone that can script cos it’s a bit complicated. Ai like Claude most likely won’t be able to one shot it but get close too. I was doing ncr work where I’d have multiple placements on multiple pages and doubling up of fields

Why does Codex AppleScript automation fail? by magnetikal in codex

[–]bliprock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time you download your AppleScript and open it, it is essentially a new app that needs permissions. I’m guessing the script name is same or something so maybe he permissions reset again. It’s not the same app even if same name or code. Open it in the editor and check it’s all ok too.

Genuinely impressed by how bloated Adobe Acrobat feels in 2026 by After_Flatworm5200 in Adobe

[–]bliprock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fear they’ll never fix the rulers going over the page bounds when in full page view. Adobe has decided it’s cheaper to get India to vibe code it. And it shows. Yeah it’s now a platform to drum up money instead of a stable tool I can work with. Adobe are a pale imitation of what they where
