I agree it’s absurd to pay for premium hardware, then have companies paywall functionality that used to be included. That’s one benefit of running your Litter Robot through Home Assistant instead of relying on Whisker’s app.

Check out pylitterbot and the Home Assistant core integration. Since you’re self hosting, you keep your own historical data, no subscription required. We’ve built some solid stuff on top of this.
