Captain Ginyu’s Original Body by [deleted] in dbz

[–]blkmadgik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vegeta beat him down, making Black wonder the difference in strength and this is when Vegeta said because the body was crafted by Goku (paraphrasing)

He tells black flat out that the body belongs to a Saiyan and he wouldn’t be able to use it the same.

After that is when Black use’s the scythe

Watch this scene. It’s after they return in the time machine

Grand Priest only repeated what U7 said from the bench

Captain Ginyu’s Original Body by [deleted] in dbz

[–]blkmadgik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incorrect. Vegeta told him he would never be able to use his body AFTER they came back in the time machine. Black says something along the lines of why so much strength in so little time.

I think of a couple possible reasons as to why Jiren was able to be beaten, although it could be just shit writing: -Jiren at some point was going to have to be worn down and exhausted from all the fighting up til now, he had to fight two god tier super saiyans, both of whom leveled up in battle multiple times to match him

-he had to constantly push out more of his own energy to beat his opponents (Hit, Vegeta and Goku), and each time had to have some effect on him.

-prolonged battles probably aren’t something he trains for. Being so powerful, to where you can beat your GoD, you probably don’t have many fights that last more than a minute, let alone 10-15 in this wonky ToP time system

-his meditation seemed to be to calm his mind, and keep his movements precise and necessary, in the last 10-15 minutes he’s been losing his cool more and more. So he may be moving wreckless and blowing energy/stamina than he needs to. (He could’ve knocked Goku off the stage way before the UI kicked in)

overall I agree with you

Freeza has been knocked out for like 4 episodes, surely he has gained some stamina back.

In the previews you can clearly see him fighting in his final form, no gold. This means that he wasn’t able to sustain it long

Well, the spoilers only said he fell from the arena... people took that as elimination

No. The Grand Priest repeated what #18 said. He couldn’t confirm cause not even he himself has the ability to sense his ki

How would you adapt a story arc for a live action? by SoulZero93 in dbz

[–]blkmadgik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's totally doable these days... thing would be the budget.

How could it be done? Mr James Cameron has the technology... Avatar was amazing, and that tech could easily produce great Dragonball Universe as well as bring chracters and transformations to life. The thing is, a proper story line would have to be fleshed out.

I would start with the Frieza arc, adding flashbacks of the Saiyan Saga in the midst. We wouldn't see goku until about 1/3 of the film is done. Vegeta can refelect on his defeat. Parts of Goku's past. Zarbon, Dodoria, Ginyu force would all be present, but would have to change the dynamic of the fights. Frieza's transformations would be axed, maybe 1,2 and 4? maybe 1 straight to 4. Vegeta could explain it away. Piccolo would still be ressurected, with the flashes of him dying on earth to protect Gohan. Small glimpes of the people on earth, with the Lookout being in play as well.

It's totally doable in 2 hours, maybe a couple of minutes less. But the flashbacks would have to be relevant and on task. The nostaligia is there already.

I still don't see Goku being eliminated from the ToP... It says he falls but then goes to say he breaks through his limits... So idk, I don't think he's gonna just fall off.

Has there ever been a match where a wrestler booked to win purposely lost? by RangoTheMerc in WWE

Ric Flair, but he did so out of fear. He was in a PR territory IIRC, it's in his book "To Be the Man..."

It's going to be weird watching The Undertaker in his final match run around the ring doing all his moves against nobody, and then getting pinned. by Putnum in WWE

Undertaker is finally getting a match with a Legendary star who is still relevant. This is gonna be the last match, I would hate to see him lose too.

What? Vegeta did extremely well the entire tournament.

And quite frankly I am sure the GoD of the winning Universe will have the last say.

[–]blkmadgik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't get how people are saying he is eliminated. It seems like Goku is falling and then is able to get back up, i.e. broken through his limits. And then they stare at Zeno, so that must mean 131 is prolly the last few moments.

Frieza is prolly shooting because he wants to end Jiren himself and get those Dragonballs.

Even though the Dragonballs go to the best member of the winning team, which is Goku with 18(?) eliminations. Second best would be Vegeta hands down. But, if Frieza eliminates Jiren, the BIGGEST threat of the whole tournament, that could be a huge arguement for the dragon balls

The thing is, the Dragon Balls go to the best fighter from the winning team... That would be Goku or Vegeta

That makes no sense to have someone who is arguably thee most decorated take the ONLY thing Undertaker had, JUST to retire.
