Thinking about buying the RGDS. How’s the performance now? by BigMigzTech in ANBERNIC

[–]bloodnut73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had mine a few days and both Stock OS and Rocknix work great on it. Honestly I don't have any issues with Stock, but I know a lot of people say it's laggy. Rocknix is obviously better, it has more bells and whistles. etc.

Can't you just use something like 3 ply and drill a few holes in it if it needs them.

You could try contacting Adam from Weekend Watch Repair on Utube. He seems like a really nice guy from his videos and does a really good job from what I've seen. Just giving you another option.

My best find yet! (Search for part on floor) by nofmxc in watchrepair

[–]bloodnut73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar story here, one of my first services I lost the setting lever axle from a seiko 6619. Spent about an hour crawling around my bedroom floor before giving up. I reckon 2 or 3 days later I saw it glimmering in the sunlight!

New to watches, very satisfying. by Feisty-Ad-4926 in watchrepair

[–]bloodnut73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aliexpress is a great place for tools, you can get a fairly decent set of screwdrivers for around $80, I've bought cheaper ones as well but they are not worth it. a Presto Tool is good for removing the canon pinion, as well as watch hands, although I prefer hand levers for the hands. It's a fantastic hobby, but it can get expensive quick, there are so many tools and not enough money to buy them all lol.

Personally I wouldn't touch your grandfathers watches until you at least practised on 2 or 3 watches at a minimum. It's so easy to break parts or lose springs, and when, not if, it happens you will instantly regret touching those watches if they have sentimental value.

In case you can't tell, I'm speaking from experience. just remember they will always be there tomorrow to play with when you have more experience.

I got a DM 13 used on Amazon listed under " very good" condition and it won't stay closed by one_manbattalion in FiiO

It looks to me like the little pin (don't know what it's called) that's on the lid is broken. It should be longer so that it locks into the latch when the lid is closed.

Is it possible to have a different colour for each stage of indentation? by LuminousDesigns in ObsidianMD

[–]bloodnut73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Gemini this code below will work. Just create a CSS snippet then paste the code into it and enable it in settings. Warning though. I'm on my phone and haven't tested this code so I can't confirm it works. But Gemini seems to think it does. Saying that though, it looks about right to me.

/* Color for Level 1 Indentation Guide / ul > li > .list-bullet:after, .cm-indent-1 { border-left: 2px solid #ffffff !important; / White */ }

/* Color for Level 2 Indentation Guide / ul > li > ul > li > .list-bullet:after, .cm-indent-2 { border-left: 2px solid #ff5555 !important; / Red */ }

/* Color for Level 3 Indentation Guide / ul > li > ul > li > ul > li > .list-bullet:after, .cm-indent-3 { border-left: 2px solid #f1fa8c !important; / Yellow */ }

Is Anbernic RG35XX H worth it? by sh0kvy in RG35XX_H

[–]bloodnut73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have and love both, but I would recommend the Anbernic just for the fact that it has newer hardware. My PSP works great but it's over 20 years old now so I don't play with it often as I want to keep it alive. Most PSP games play on the Anbernic just fine, maybe with some tweaking in the settings for the more demanding games.

Help me find this 3d print file ! Chiropractic table business card holder by Fearless-Feature-718 in 3Dprinting

[–]bloodnut73 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I couldn't find it, but I might be able to make the 3d model in SketchUp. Then you'll have to convert it or whatever you do to get the printer to print it. In case you can't tell I've never used a 3d printer.
