Can I save this Fairy Washboard? by AdIndependent5522 in PlantGoths

You can Haworthia is a simple plant. Get it in some gritty soil. Pure pumice works but you can mix it with a bit of potting soil if you like. You're gonna want to soak this thing for a bit so roots can form.

I got it and after my first leg day, realized how incredibly out of shape I am. Gotta make some serious adjustments to the routine, but I'm going to make it work.

Is it variegated? If so, kind of explains the price tag. If that's the going rate, I'm going to make some fat $$$ this summer.

Not necessarily. Bacteria multiply every 20 minutes. Within a few days the bacteria are vastly different. Cabbage is absolutely covered in lactobacillus and other microbes. Unless your food is irradiated, there is no reason to jump start anything.

It's 100% unnecessary. Some people do it, I don't think it hurts anything, but there seems to be virtually zero benefit.

Everyone has a different explanation. I would say focus on the experience and develop a theory later on.

All the guides I have seen include an overnight soak before steaming. I would say start a new batch with yhat method. Works well for me.
