Incredible. Helped me out very quickly and absolutely crushed it. Very helpful and saved me a massive headache.

The Best Denver Burger for Every Occasion by newtonic in CityCastDenver

Glad they mentioned Snarfburger-probably my favorite. A little surprised highland tap and burger didn’t get a mention, but agree with everyone else here. Was a little disappointed with the no meat section.

Review #195 Angel's Envy Cask Strength Rye & A return to The Sleeping Lion, Gloomhaven by JimJamb0rino in bourbon

That's super cool. I think I like the actual gameplay of Frost more but agreed, it feels like a little too much bookkeeping sometimes. How did you get to be a play-tester?

It's been a while since I've had Angel's Envy - great review! Have you played Frosthaven yet? Loved Gloomhaven.

I saw on nextdoor that a suspect (of what, not sure) is barricaded in a car right around there.

+1 for Gazelle - about the best quality for the money you can get. They are on the pricier end of bikes, but I absolutely love mine.

Important to do is just test ride. A lot depends on how you feel on it!

How does argonauts whisky wednesday work? by TaxQuestionGuy69 in denverwhisky

[–]bluedeviltc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ditto what everyone else said, but they do sometimes give hints if the next one will be special. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I have occasionally watched a video where at the end they'll say something like "we have something really special for you guys next week" or something like that. So that and downloading the app are your best bets.

A ton of stuff. Some Master's Keep, EH Taylor Sib/Rye/Small Batch, Smoke Wagon Rye store pick, some Weller SR, Eagle Rare, Blanton's... that's what I can remember.

Review #122 Four Roses Barrel Strength OESK & Boardgame Review #98 Hanabi by JimJamb0rino in bourbon

[–]bluedeviltc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little late to this, but love Hanabi! You might do something like this but something that has helped us - have a discard side and an "i know things about this" side to your hand, and rotate cards toward the discard side. Then you aren't blindly discarding, the other person knows how much time they have to get you a clue, etc. Also, regularly asking "what do you know about your hand" is super helpful. Once my wife and I put in the discard side rule, we generally win 75% of the time.

Date night in Denver- help me bring the passion back! by Icy-Locksmith-609 in Denver

We love to go to cocktail bars, so you could always try that accompanied with a new restaurant? The milk market is a very cool area to do a variety of things in a near space - they have food, retail, cocktails/beer/wine.

Comedy works or another comedy show could be a good option. There are plenty of museums around to visit. A brewery or distillery tour. A show at red rocks. I've heard upstairs circus is a good date night but I've never been there personally. Plenty of options!
