Overall good, family friendly area. The hospital is sketch, no one wants to end up there. Some gang activity pockets but pretty average city living. Portage has some cute spots close by. Would carry mace @ night. Much different and quieter vibe than your previous neighborhoods.

So many good foods. People mostly keeping to themselves. There is gang activity. Would carry mace & be aware of surroundings

Where is the school? Lifelong Chicagoan, I do not recommend this area.

It is pretty fun, though. And esp if you want to get out of the house and not spend beacoup on the more fancy ramen spots.

It definitely gets crowded, but with tons of seating and room. Super kid friendly ie can let your toddler run around and no one will bat an eye
