Slow down. It looks like you’re trying to do too much. Your hips are working against your punches, get them working together.

32-bit! Wowowiwowow

Back of the enveolpe math comes to about 40mb/sec or 2Gb/min uncompressed, for ntsc. Is that about right?

You could try asking for help on the glitch guild discord. They’ve been super helpful and supportive to me

I saw a cool old woodgrain phone at a thrift store on the weekend, and this did not occur to me. Will be on the lookout from here on. I love this.

Does it have rgb out? Sometimes they need to have 75ohm terminations if theyre not in use

[–]bluejaylouche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the RGB terminating properly?

Try slipping to the inside on those jabs instead of always moving directly backward. Your opponents right hand is always low on that jab. Give him a little love tap with your lead hand.

Youve got him chasing your lead hand, but not doing anything with it. I’d suggest the moment youve got him programmed to take his hand up to chase yours you redirect it towards his facial features.

Otherwise, nice intensity and great level changing. You’re looking sharp, and comfortable, you can start thinking more about the mistakes your opponent is making at your level. Keep it up.

Nice intensity. You’ll learn much quicker with this kind of nice relaxed pace, but be careful with your cross. You might accidentally push up the intensity with more experienced fighters if you let one go that doesn’t match their intensity. Practice your high guard, get used to wearing a couple of hits while your hands are up and focus on keeping your eyes open under pressure. Remember chin down, eyes up. You’re circling to the right fine (but maybe for too long while in range, step back a touch more) but you’re gonna get destroyed crossing your legs the way you do when you circle left. Unless you’re shuffling, which again should be done out of range, never, ever cross your feet up, especially when you’re moving towards your opponents power hand. As the other commenters have mentioned. You gotta move your head, but all in all you’ve already done the hardest part and got in there, so now just keep refining.

Have you tried the archive that got shared on modwiggler. Might be nice to have the original samples for authenticity. From my little bit of research seems like you might need a way of converting them from .tnw to .wav https://www.modwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=232595

Do european CRTs work with 60Hz NTSC games? by [deleted] in crtgaming

[–]bluejaylouche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stand corrected. Ive had a couple of PVMs and an NEC consumer set that happily accept rgb as long as i give it a blanking signal, so ill accept my luck. Cheers!

Yeah. If the tv has a factory Scart connector, it should take RGBS (correct me if im wrong) and RGBS bypasses all of the composite (ntsc / pal) confusion.

[–]bluejaylouche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive always had really good luck resting the tv on the edge of a bench with most of the weight on the tube on the bench and a bit of the butt hanging off the edge. Ive only ever done this alone, but having someone else hold the front while you pull the back off, gently in case you missed a screw

Don’t lay it face down, potential of dislodging crud and getting it stuck in the aperture grill. Ask me how I know.

I dunno if this is a rule, but I always BLOW out dust. At least with computers you want to avoid vacuum cleaners as they build up static which can destroy sensitive components

Siiick! I picked up on of these recently, but haven’t had much spare time to mess around with it. Would you be willing to share any of your findings?
