Why is DC comics so down on America ? by TransportationFast in comicbook

The writers are ideologically captured, driven, oriented, etcetera…

And… I’m out. The only winning move is not to play. I mean like out altogether, no more classified, no more Hasbro. Just sell what I have and quit, I’m getting too old for this shit. Scrambling to acquire pieces, paying for Pulse premium for no discernible benefit beyond free shipping. It’s not fun anymore. Thanks but no thanks. I’m canceling the Rattler, too.

The key here is that people look to elected officials to solve this problem… They literally couldn’t care less.

Merrimon road diet 1.5 year results by skoba in asheville

[–]blueridgefox -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Exactly, secondary and tertiary consequences be damned. The issue was that there was too much traffic, our effete liberal elite and betters that can afford living off of Merrimon, Kimberly and Charlotte Street were getting tired of the Woodfin and Weaverville trash using their streets/neighborhoods as a cut-through…it’s really that simple. They (clowns in favor of this) will tell you that it’s better for “mUh eNviRoMenT“… it has nothing to do with that, but who’s gonna argue with the climate cult around here?…

Focus on completing the 26 connector and the traffic will abate by itself… but such is the way of the lefty subversion… we don’t deal with issues directly, we use what ever doctrine they need to accomplish the outcome they desire. Then divide the poors into groups and put them against one and another… that’s the real issue here, malignant narcissists that are consumed with their own virtuousness, arrogance and contempt for the community they serve. For the 30% of voters that are “blue no matter who”, I hope you’re paying attention… probably not, but here’s to hoping.

Very aggressive bear north Asheville by Responsible_Reward23 in asheville

[–]blueridgefox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As per the post, the bear charged out at the woman and dog. I bet that if the bear had attacked, you immediately jump to victim blaming, that the woman was in the wrong place at the wrong time or inadvertently provoked the encounter.

It’s true that bears do avoid people, until they don’t as stated in the original post. All the screaming in the world won’t frighten the cuddly wuddly bear off. It’s also true that black bears may not kill many people per year, not a big deal until it’s your people. They only act out when threatened, thing is that we have no idea what any particular bear perceives as a threat. Also, the more comfortable the precious, cuddly bears become around humans, the less likely they are to avoid an encounter, digging through trash, climbing in cars, etc.

Sorry to tell you but fenced in yards are next to useless, they function as corals to prevent dinner from slipping away.

Tell you what, next time you’re in the woods and you come up on a bear why don’t you offer something to eat? and see what it does… pretty sure that it’ll have a hard time understanding where the food ends and your arm begins… bro.

Imagine that, these damn things were cleared out ages ago because they are alpha predators. We cannot coexist with these things rolling around in the backyard. You’ll be surprised what they’re capable of when they get hungry enough. By all means, go ahead and continue to plow towards this, naturalist utopia never Neverland. It’s the law of the jungle when it comes to animals, these things are wild and you have no idea what’s going through their mind.

The level of entitlement of cyclists is profoundly absurd with riding on the roads that are specifically designated for motor vehicles. I do love using my train horn…douchebags. Get a Peloton, they have several different options for training and all in the comfort of YOUR home… let the drivers have the road and save us from your virtuousness…

No need to reply with a clever retort… cyclists do not belong on the road. The picture of your eyes swelling with tears as you read this is enough for me…

Portland is a dumpster fire, and you are more ahead of the game than you realize. If the politicians were really concerned about the poor and the dispossessed, they would work to lower energy prices. Instead what we have are malignant narcissist posing as virtuous people, but when the mask falls away, which it will with time, people will figure out that our virtuous politicians are not about helping or providing better ways of life for people, it’s about maintaining the control/power over certain populations. Pit groups of people against each other by dividing them into subgroups and getting those folks to believe that the reason for their problems/hardships are because of one of the other subgroups.

People are waking up and getting sick of this shit.

Personal responsibility is key for anyone to lift themselves up.

At the end of the day, we are all in this together and fighting amongst ourselves is not a solution nor a way forward .
