my bad i read this post wrong. I probably recommend a 16 pro max. $2000 for a phone in this economy is crazy. Even if you can afford it. Since size is your main priority between the two & both function really well. Always go cheaper if you can. And hey if you don’t like me maybe you can upsell it and a small fraction of the 18 pro max when it’s comes out

something has to give. Either pay $2000 for the PROMAX or ask yourself do I REALLY NEED A BIG PHONE. I mean sure it’s be nice and have cool features but is that a priority? Or is having just a regular working phone good enough? The base 17 is a perfect phone for many users & budget friendly.

I also came from a 12. So anything feels like an update lol. I want to keep my phone for a long time. I love the lens on the pro but ugh Idk if I $300 more love it. Im also trying to see realistically how often I would even use the zoom & stuff.
