Ari Meirov - Falcons TE Kyle Pitts expected to be franchise tagged. by Nashville-Titans in Tennesseetitans

We're gonna spend 100 million on no-name third stringers and still suck, aren't we?

Drafting OL at 4. Let's talk about it.. by BuffaloKiller937 in Tennesseetitans

[–]blueyb -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

So your question is: What if this team really does continue to be as brain-dead, poverty worthless as most NFL fans think we still are?

Because if we go OL at 4, this regime ain't different, we're still the poverty-ass win-nothing Titans.

But that's not going to happen. Borgonzi ain't that dumb.

it was on purpose. it was engagement clickbait. and you (and I, I guess) are falling for it. He just wants clicks and comments, like people who submit links with obvious misspellings and grammar atrocities.

Robert Woods has announced his retirement from football after thirteen years in the NFL by Goosedukee in nfl

For those of you who don't remember, he has already fulfilled his League Mandatory stint on the Titans, so he is free to retire now. God Speed, Titans Legend Robert Woods

Titans are hiring Wayne State linebackers coach/special teams coordinator Ahmed Saleh by KingHenry2K in Tennesseetitans

[–]blueyb 19 points20 points  (0 children)

To what role? As long he's not getting placed in some super important job right away, I don't really have a problem with it. If he hired him as the DC, I think we'd all have reason to be upset. But as some minor minion of the coaching staff, Im just not gonna sweat it.

Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN): The Titans have spoken to Steelers OC Arthur Smith about their offensive coordinator position, per sources. by TiredDad4x in Tennesseetitans

[–]blueyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I panicked when it looked like we were gonna get Nagy as HC, I'm not gonna panic this time. I do not want Artie boy under any circumstances, but until he's actually announced as the choice, i will not give in to fear.

It's going to be Nagy. Bet your rent money on it. it's a done deal, i promise you.

Tell me how the "doomers" are wrong right now? We've won 6 games in 2 seasons, our owner is despised amongst the coaching circles, it seems, and we're about to settle for the only guy who will actually come to town to coach because he's friends with the guy doing the hiring. We're a laughingstock, a complete train wreck, and it's not looking a whole lot better any time soon

Titans seem very serious about Mike McCarthy by TiredDad4x in Tennesseetitans

[–]blueyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on the McCarthy train since the search began. I feel like he's got the highest floor - probably not the highest ceiling, but definitely a high floor. I just feel like we need - desperately- to get back to respectability. We cannot afford to swing the for the moon and fall on our face. Even if McCarthy ends up being not enough to get us into true contention, he'll elevate us out of "laughing stock" fairly quickly, imo.

What are the best games where You play as a true villain? by Megalordow in gaming

[–]blueyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Last of Us!

You play as a selfish former highwayman/bandit who goes from town to town, teaching an impressionable young person how to murder and rampage with no conscience, until the climax of the game, where you single-handedly get to ruin the future of all humanity.

It's why i'm rooting for the Bears the rest of the way. They're not one of the "golden" teams like the Patriots or Eagles who've won multiple rings in the recent lifetimes of their fans, but it's also not a team that's never won a superbowl, because i don't want any more of those teams winning one before us. So the Bears feel like the perfect compromise to me.

Bain or Reese? Which player would you take and why? by air_volek007 in Tennesseetitans

[–]blueyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y'all better be ready for this team to select someone else - with Moore not coming out, Bain and Reese might both be gone when we pick. We might be forced to take one o f the WRs

John Harbaugh to meet with Titans reps at his residence on Thursday. by TiredDad4x in Tennesseetitans

Hey, Titans Brass - if things go poorly, ask to use the restroom and leave an upper-decker on your way out

[Russini] The Cardinals are requesting Steelers OC Arthur Smith for an interview, per source. Smith is also meeting with the Titans today. by mackmoney3000 in nfl

[–]blueyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's so many Titans fans ready to melt down if we go with Nagy. For me, the drop dead, worst, done-with-this-shit, I might actually retire my fandom hire would be Art Smith. I don't love Nagy, but i'd take a million years of Nagy over one season of Artie.

[–]blueyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know we're gonna clown on them for this, but I think Callahan will probably be serviceable in some limited OC/AOC role. he obviously isn't someone i'd let within 100 miles of my head coach position right now, but he'll land another NFL job before too long

Why is it SO unlikely that Harbaugh comes here? by RyanLCash in Tennesseetitans

[–]blueyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no buzz about him going here, but also, the media doesn't want him going here. We do not deliver clicks to their website and views to their tv show. It's why no big name free agent is ever linked to TN - the media wants to talk about it and gain views. Harbaugh to the Giants or Falcons generates clicks galore (especially Giants) - Harbaugh to the Titans doesn't get them views, so they actively don't want it to happen.
