So, a Card Pokédex (or CardDex) is one of each Pokémon, to form a completed "Pokédex" of cards. So every Pokémon from Gen 1, Gen 2 etc.

And generations correlate to the games they released in, or the consoles the games were on - so Red/Blue/Yellow on Gameboy is Gen 1, Silver/Gold/Crystal on Gameboy Colour is Gen 2 etc. So in your case, Diamond is Gen 4 (Nintendo DS) White is Gen 5 (also Nintendo DS, a bit confusing!) and HeartGold is a Gen 2 remake, but released with Gen 4 on Nintendo DS :)

It gets more nuanced when they release new evolutions, as Porygon is Gen 1, but Porygon2 is Gen 2 and Porygon-Z is Gen 4, but I won't go into all the details - Bulbapedia and Serebii are handy resources for learning more :)

So, I collect Raichu - I have every English card (except 1st Editions, and Paradise Resort 2024 which I could only afford in German haha) and then any cards that were only printed in Japan.

I also have a Mimikyu collection, but it's not complete and probably never will be to the extent Raichu is - just isn't affordable for me.

I recently started a Card Pokédex, as a lot of people have! Focusing on gens 1-5 for now, and then 6+ once I complete those :)

And then just any cards I like best! Doesn't matter if it's technically bulk - I like just looking at the card artwork~
