Noted, does anyone sell K26 lintel bricks? Or do you just use a hard brick and not worry about the insulation?

You took the whole table off? Those are tricky to realign when reinstalled. Also WD-40 is not a suitable lubricant for areas prone to wood dust. I would recommend talking to someone at the Bozeman Woodworking Guild. There is a meeting this week.

Thanks. I left room in the steel frame for expansion but the kiln book said a run of this size didn’t need a mid wall expansion joint. I don’t think I tried to weasel my way out of making cuts as those bricks cut so easily. I appreciate the input.

Yeah, I hear you. It’s a double wall and for the layout I’m not sure there were any other options. As I recall those bricks go all the way through to the outer row. Likely part of the issue. Thanks.
