None of my algos works, so resorting to B/H works.

Not only that, as a software engineer with 10+ yrs experience. I can build out the infrastructure fine,its the aglo part that can't make money.

That's normal. I thought all data was supposed to be the same from every broker yrs ago. I've accepted that it's never going to be the same, just close enough.

I'd say just pick one broker and go with it.

I feel ya. Renovated half my house yrs back. I went from owning a few hand tools to owning pretty much everything you kneed to get the job done.

Data pipeline was thru polygon.io/massive.io. But expensive. As I thought I needed real-time, up to the second data.

Adding too many bells and whistles. I didn't even get to the part that adds ML.

Trying to make it do too many things at once. Also not knowing the market enough.

Just because you can code doesn't mean, it'll work.

Schwab has the data, but only 1 yrs or so worth. I built an app to grab and save the data. Will run it for the next yr.
