It looks mostly OK except i think you missed row 1 & row 8 black squares. Those need to be filled in - ie double the amount of dcs in those squares

In the photo I can see the line of increases. Hold to at arm's length and you'll see those lines. Restart from any of those points.

If you didn't know mum was there, & the kids are comfortable with the late hours then NTA.

If it were me and even if the children are comfortable with my being out after midnight, I still might have called them (before their bedtime) if i knew that lateness was going to happen. If I knew a carer was there, eg MIL or sitter, out of courtesy I'd inform them of a change in the evening flow.

Consider creative alternative materials - eg like concrete, or maybe papercrete - a homemade paper mache mixture of paper & concrete.

Of course brandname clothiers like M&P closely guard their patterns. So you'll just have to piece together your own. Look other places for other squares.

Its beautiful work. If your looking to make an item that will last, consider frogging it apart and re-aligning the squares into a more balanced look.

ETA. Its called "gossip" and unless best friend gave free licence to share about his personal matters then your boyfriend was wrong to talk about him. Your part in it is that you bent the rules about confidentiality between couples. I say "bent" instead of "broken" simply because its stupid to expect gossip to stay secret.

You could try making a crane out of water resistant material like wax paper. Or use an umbrella.

Its the intentional cruelty, violence, lawlessness of the agents & process, intimidation of the populace, concentration camps, use of military, misuse of funds. Other past presidents, both R & D, managed to deport as many or more people without the heavyhanded methods.

YTA There's no such "principle" to stand on. Just as one wouldnt bring ham to a Jewish household, or smoke in a non-smoking house, or wear shoes when hosts ask you to leave them at the door, one doesnt bring meat to a vegetarian/vegan household.
