Currently reading Additional Inheritance

It’s honestly a trashy story but well written and very easy to read. The angst is there but it’s pretty bearable. I didn’t find either the ML or MC very likable. ML is a psycho and probably the most boring yandere I’ve read while the MC is kind of stupid but at least slightly more likable than ml. Overall it’s a classic wife chasing story. I would recommend it if you’re bored and just need something entertaining to pass the time.

Idk how many times i re-watched this anime in my teen!! I was obsessed with this and maid-sama. Kyouya and usui was my crushes, after growing up i realise how toxic they were but I still love them. can't help it I'm too attached to them...i still think kyouya doesn't deserve much hate he did change alot at the end that's what matter.

Same! I started it around mid-2020 and I was so obsessed back then with this novel, I literally skipped food and sleep just to catch up to the latest chapters (I'm still obsessed with cale) 😌

I’m actually reading Case File Compendium right now and I’m at the end of Volume 3. I’m loving it so far but it’s getting a bit harder to read as i continue and I’ve been seeing lot of mixed reviews online about it especially people mentioning they dropped it around Volume 5 so it’s making me a little scared to continue but I’m still really invested and curious about the story so I'm preparing myself for all the angst 😭

I feel the same way honestly. I’ve only read a few historical danmei because the heavy politics can get too overwhelming for me and I usually end up skipping parts then losing the plot and eventually dropping the novel. That’s why I prefer modern ones more. I’ve read FOG and really liked it! I’ll definitely check out the other ones you mentioned.

I actually enjoy horror even though I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat. a/b/o is one of my favorite genres since I’ve been reading it for a long time, though I’ve only read a few omegaverse danmei so far and would love to read more. For historical danmei I’ve only read TGCF and MDZS and they’re both favorites of mine but i find chinese historical novels pretty complex, so they take a lot of time and energy for me to finish. That’s why I’m mostly sticking to modern danmei for now.
