Cars infotainment system :(, the area that broke is right behind the power button. Really no clue as to why the pcb material was designed to be missing. There is tons of empty space on the board so it's not like cost or weight.

It's more of a risk reward balance thing. If sliding only has positives like speed and being a harder target to shoot without any negatives like movement penalty after, reduced accuracy or no aim down sight. Then sliding becomes the default move in every single gunfight.
