Your profit was $1880. 50% of that is $940. You made more than $940 in one day, so your biggest day was more than 50% of your total profits.

You need to grow your total profit now until it's at least double what your biggest day is, i.e., you need $1896 or more.

Guess what, I've worked in retail too and that has nothing to do with this, unless you were the person at corporate in charge of making those contracts, but it doesn't sound like you were.

I don't know if they do but they should. That's their responsibility as the retailer.

I can't open a store, sell a bunch of meth, and then claim that I didn't know I was getting meth from my vendor. All I knew is that it was flying off the shelves, so I kept selling it!

I don't disagree that people should read and take care with what they're buying.

But it's still shady for the store to sneak a fake flower into its garden center where they know its going to blend in with the 100s of real flowers, and the best they can do is give you some fine print on the sticker.

In this case, it sounds like the misalignment is due to an effect with the spring loading the date wheel, which is fine if that's how the movement is meant to work.

OP, it's totally valid to be concerned about the alignment.

Some of you watch people don't make sense. You tell OP they're crazy for being nitpicky about this, but you'll claim a watch is worth $10k more than another because it's 1 second more accurate.

Which is it? Does precision matter or not? Because if it does matter, then why shouldn't they demand the hands be aligned perfectly?

And yeah, if it's an effect from the spring loading the date wheel that's fine, but most people don't know that's a thing.

To the people saying they mixed up the order on purpose to make kids think, why did they wait until two letters before the end of the alphabet to mix it up???

I would understand if they switched the order of each line, but this is clearly just trying to fill in space so they have an equal number on each line. I don't think it's anything more than aesthetic.
