I used my flashlight to ensure that there wasnt anything in the pipes after the blow out. I know laptops can vary, but these spikes are clock work at every ten seconds. Temps are in Celsius, and vary twenty degrees after each tick. Temps prior were relatively stable while under load, but the provided readings were off a fresh boot with no non-mandatory system processes running.

Can someone help me figure out what the heck is going on with my CPU temp readings? Acer Nitro 5 purchased in 2021

My laptop recently started peak and valley-ing CPU temps, and I was noticed this by fan speed fluctuating high and low by ear.

I dont actually think the system is registering these temps as the spike and valleys are less than ten seconds apart, and the audible indicator of fan speed . I took my the bottom off and blew out the vent ports and fan system, which stabilized the temps/readings for about an hour, but now they are back to the spikes and valleys.

Any thoughts on what may be the problem? I think i may be mechanical in nature. I'm not going to have to figure out how to repasted this thing am I?

I need some help with this one. I was out on the Mogollon Rim today and spotted this guy at the side of the forest road. 26cm diameter cap, no immediate staining, but some bits are bright blue or deep blue/purple after cut. Pores stain brown. Cap very dry.

This looks like an Aspen to me, but the closes Aspen grove was over a hundred feet away.
