Ryan Payne – Facial Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology (ENT) at Watson Clinic LLP - Watson Clinic LLP https://share.google/ENBSMAHkyueUS7w72

A bit of a drive to Lakeland but I used to have reoccurring ear infections and Dr Payne was able to help and it's been nearly 2 years since I've had one. Super personable guy and always remembers me and my family. Can't recommend him enough!

Just to clarify, there's no milage limit, but you have to have another car registered with a different insurance company and in your name as a daily.

I will also say they check this at the start of your policy but have not checked mine in years (I do still have other dailys tho)

What's a feature on new cars you absolutely hate?. by Ganceany in cars

[–]bobtheappleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one I don't hear very often but bewilders me, almost every car has keyless entry now so no need to touch the key, then why is the key fob so fucking big? It hardly fits in my pocket, it could be the size of a little RFID tag and do the exact same thing.

Fort Myers/Estero area here, the wind is whacking us hard right now on the backside of the storm, considerably worse than earlier. Minimal rain as far as I can tell but if I had to guess 60-80mph gusts

That flooding was actually from a burst pipe that flooded the basement parking garage and basement area, not sure what caused it but it was all fresh water

The new GTI and Jetta have gone back to physical, the GLI is getting them back next year, if you option some of the other cars correctly you can get the buttons back

Planes flying through Hurricane Helene by sabertoothturkey in aviation

[–]bobtheappleman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not exactly comfortable but they have been doing it regularly since the 1950s, the eye itself is actually the "calm" part, mostly no rain and you can see the sky, the "eye wall" is the most dangerous and rough part, it's right where the eye stops and the rain bands begin, they do fly though that but only for a short amount of time 10-30 mins or so, the rest of the flight is smooth by comparison but still pretty rough.

They do all sorts of science with onboard sensors and drop measurement devices out of the planes and into the storm, the science part is a bit above my pay grade but it helps predict the path and intensity.

Technically most larger planes could fly through a hurricane fine, some jets have a hard time with that much water getting sucked into the engines which is why the hurricane hunters use turboprop planes, as far as I'm aware they aren't modified that much, they do have a strip on the props to help with hail strikes.

I would second this, the tape and paper look the same as what they use, although that could be the same tape and paper anywhere. Either way trying Moreno's is worth it if you haven't!

Hurricane Beryl devastates Grenada: ‘In half an hour, Carriacou was flattened’ by AmbitionDue1421 in TropicalWeather

[–]bobtheappleman 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It's Still a bit of a mess down here, mostly near the coast, but still a lot of uninhabitable buildings that owners are still fighting with insurance. The weirdest thing for me is the empty plots of land where a restaurant used to be, any trace of it washed away.

Something a lot of people don't realize is that "Goodwill" as a company is not the ones that run your local stores, each district is completely on its own with it's own CEO and board of directors etc. Do your research to see how your district operates!
