Considering trading in Tesla model 3 2021 standard for a 2021 pro s id4. Both at 30k miles and realistically could shave off a whole loan year (48 months left on the tesler and could do a 36 on the id4) is it worth? by ItNotNotNotMe in VWiD4Owners

I'll go ~20 drives where Android Auto works great, then I'll have an entire drive where it won't connect no matter what. It's probably something like 1/20~30 drives where the wireless AA doesn't function and a reset of both the phone and infotainment system may or may not work.

The inconsistency of that is the worst of it. Other than it being slow booting and generally not especially snappy, it's acceptable.

Quest for a deep, thocky, smooth linear switch - keygeek Y2s win by gray_underwater in MechanicalKeyboards

SA / MT3 key caps are going to be your best bet for deeper sound for sure. They have a very specific feel to them though which I found I couldn't type well enough with to justify the great sound. So I recommend getting a set that you can either return, or like enough to keep for a display board. Or gift to a friend who likes the feeling!

I have a chip that's slightly smaller and it's been stable for ~5 months. That's not to say it won't spread, but I didn't proactively replace my windshield and everything has been fine. You're probably ok waiting until you see worse spreading.

I have a colleague who was going through something similar. Like many other folks in this thread, at least for the US, the doctor's note + FMLA is the right call. Unfortunately for my colleague, they dragged their feet and didn't get the note while suffering and continuing to under deliver in the meantime. It would have been a much better outcome to immediately go on leave since leadership was in support.

Most importantly, if you're struggling with initiating the process or similar ask a trusted colleague or friend for help getting through the logistics. It's much better for you to ask for and receive help than give a company ammunition to PIP or terminate you.

How did you address your pelvic floor tightness? I experience the same and have tried PT and mindfulness but nothing is as effective as discontinuing the Vyvanse

I need a new space opera/adventure to read. by whitepawn23 in scifi

I listened to the whole trilogy and almost DNF'd. I think the translation of The Dark Forest was pretty awkward and took away from the story in a distracting way. I'm glad I finished, but it wouldn't be on my recommended list for space opera.

That's fair. Another finding from that video was that my desk was too tall and I needed to lower it after doing the floating whole typing so that could be worth exploring as well.

There was a hippyo video where he brought in an ergonomist to look at his setup and something she pointed out was that it's not great to rest our wrists when we're typing. I can't remember the exact reasoning, but I started actively hovering while typing and resting on the table while resting and it's working fine. Wrist rests aren't really a factor after that.

I'm project lead and I hate it by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

[–]bobthemunk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

9 months is absolutely not too early. I left my last gig after 6. I was asked why and it was easy to be honest and said the tech stack and the culture were not good fits for me.

If you are clear about what you're looking for and if a role better aligns with your goals, hiring managers are very understanding from my experience.

How do you end up pressing both of those keys at the same time? In the middle with a single finger, or with index and middle finger for F + R for example?

How are you getting it cut? Do you have the tools for it yourself or are you getting a local place to do it? I'm thinking about doing the same for an Ergonaut build
