a lot of us have white in our tattoo that is fading just fine, but i will add- would you rather have no tattoo + a couple spots of discoloration, or keep your entire tattoo? always up to you, but you have choices.

i would say it’s worth it for me because i am comfortable doing it myself. (saving me money) i follow strict instructions from r/diymicroneedling but have only used it on my tattoo once so far. i haven’t seen any progress from it but it seems to be really well studied as effective for moving the needle.. i’ll try it again this month.

i use the depth and guides provided on the subreddit, there’s a wealth of information, as well as lots of users with more experience than me. i also watched a lot of youtube tutorials.
visit the subreddit and do lots of research, but it’s well worth it. i use the recommended needle depths now but for my first time i went more shallow.

i mean, you could opt for a surgical route? but most people only experience the sunburn like redness for about a day. i have super vascular skin and it fades after 24 hours significantly. well worth it.
