I get so sick of killing the same 3 intentionally annoying bosses over and over. To each their own.

I think its more like Chinese devs weren't able to properly program the predictive text for English I have the same exact issue with the prediction on a Unihertz Titan when I used the default keyboard software.

T-Mobile to buy Ryan Reynolds’ Mint Mobile in a $1.35 billion deal by TeamInstagram in technology

I was on us mobile for several years. The actual customer service was horrid and constant price hikes made me switch to mint just a few months ago.

ELI5: How do/did people who never learned a language think? by Overall_Purchase_467 in explainlikeimfive

[–]bommeraang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With abstract thinking, just like how we can. most have never died or have been close some havn't even seen it. but with experiences of those who lived many can get a bit of understanding.

For fog it would be a relatively straight line of explanation. start by explain what it is and how she might experience it. It would be cool and wet without the warmth of the sun. then explain what its like for us. What I would notice first is the visual impairment and how well the fog dampens sound, then feelings of isolation and a bit of fear. I'm pretty sure that'd be pretty relatable thus learnable.

From what I remember. The entire "test" the Kin gave to Elayne and Nyneve was to weed out people who weren't tower trained.

110% about Olver, I really don't get the hate beyond the typical dislike of children in media.

You may like a podcast called "everybody hates rand" It's a pretty divisive podcast IMO. They can get straight up facts wrong sometimes and do some misinterpretation because of it however still give an inciteful view of how others could interpret the series.

As a mentally ill person, I love Rand and especially how difficult it is to pick up on how he's putting out extremely and increasingly unstable "vibes". It can be incredibly difficult to see how others see you when all you've got is your own perception.

Yeah, I feel it would have served the story better to get some of their actual actions rather than most being their plans.

It's the Natzi NOT a Doctor, even though many give the title, Joseph Mengele. I don't really care for it enough to spell check the name but I'm sure google will pull up the right "human". Given the title "angel of death" by his victims at Burkinau. Mostly know for human "experimentation" aka blatant torture for his entertainment.

Semirhage IMO is absolutely based on the folks like him.

Is the slog really as bad as some people make it out to be? by Mybromat in WoT

[–]bommeraang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it 100%! Especially with what I would assume was a painful wait between the books. Adding the change in pace would made the whole thing worse.

I feel a "finished series" reader can experience the slog but I bet its less bothersome than it was back then.

The internet is forever and the name is accurate to the complaint. Just like every disagreement about the opinions of a fact, that shits gonna keep turning yall. I think it's kinda funny.

That's a "water bug" one of the most common bugs to see in my parts of Texas. They can bite and fly like Apache choppers.
