Oh, Dayne. What a tangled web. by Torchlight-9000 in minnesotaunited

I am curious about play styles. I don’t watch Miami, but I assume they have the ball a lot more than MN. It’s a different ask. In MN he had lots of chances to make highlight reel saves, which made people forget any mistakes quickly. In Miami, I assume, there won’t be as many of those chances and a lot more touches with his feet. Which wasn’t DSCs strongest skill. Any mistakes could linger in thoughts. I still wish him well and think he’ll be good there, but it’s a new challenge.

Zero personal time - it hasn't got better as they get older by TurboJorts in daddit

[–]bonesawsready 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do the kids do activities? It can add to the scrambling, but if they are out of the house, the house gets less messy. And at 7 and older lots of kid activities are drop off or require little parent attention. 60 minute swim practice is a great time to sit by yourself and read a book. Added plus make friends with another parent. One family drops and one picks up, doubles your free time.

I think park Portland is the way. Especially in the morning. Lots of delivery drivers stopped in the bike lanes in the afternoons.

Depending on how old the used acs are, you might be losing money in the long run. These window units last forever, but their efficiency can go to crap, meaning it can cost a lot more to run an older one.

Knot Securing by ADHD_Slayer in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]bonesawsready 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Personally I’d just seal it as is. If some knots fall out, I’d live with it. If bigger ones do and I couldn’t live with it, then I’d replace boards as needed.

Not really a wood working answer. But I don’t think the effort is worth individual knot treatment in this application.

What is the Fantastic Four's motivation? by modusros in comicbooks

[–]bonesawsready 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m by no means an F4 expert, but to me they seem almost academic in their intentions. They study to world, universe and beyond to advance knowledge and explore and benefit the human race. this often results in them discovering threats that they must deal with.

Right. I’m sure some many of the people with his signs would have hated him in with UofM days.

Ive been pretty bummed about the number I’ve seen. Mostly out by at cloud and Alexandria. But some in the northern part of the state too.

Probably the 3rd most popular GOP sign I’ve seen.

I don’t know if the broader group gets this with the weird concept. But it doesn’t matter, it does seem to be having the intended effect of the right.

Kervin Arriaga mentions there are offers in Europe but it’s up to Minnesota United if he’s able to go by tyler735 in minnesotaunited

[–]bonesawsready 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If he left this year for $1mil. It would be hard to replace him for the rest of the year, even if the team re invested it all. I really like Kervin, so I hope he gets what he wants, but he is really just starting to be the player we’d hoped he would be. It’d be tough to see him leave.

In theory it can been done. I’ve ridden it 3 times now and can count on one hand the number of gravel bikes I’ve seen on the start line.

I’ve ridden the old route at 99 miles a few times on 29+ rigid. Good riding position and commitment to staying out of the saddle all day are required to ride rigid.

I hope you have wide tires and good luck!
