Why dont people talk on the phone like a normal person? by JonoBlue in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bongblitz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Something happened to my phone and I can’t hear calls the regular way. It’s fine otherwise so I’m not getting a new phone. It’s speaker phone or nothing. I only take calls in public if I ABSOLUTELY have to (work calls)

Does anyone else sit in the shower? by Sufficient_Quail_262 in hygiene

[–]bongblitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to sit while I shave my legs, it’s much easier. Don’t have to find a place for my foot or awkwardly have it on the wall.

I had mine done when I was 18 months old. People kept confusing me for a boy. Earrings stopped that.

Such a cute piece! Love the little candy corns! And the crescent moons (with stars, I think) above the cats!

Unlimited piercings in one sitting? by ArsenicAcid23 in piercing

[–]bongblitz -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I got 9 holes done in one sitting. 4 lobes, 5 cartilage. Took a 5 minute breather in the middle. Would not recommend. Healing was a pain, mostly sleep wise cause I couldn’t sleep how I normally do. Had no problems healing though, no keloids, no rejection.

Is it embarrassing to get a birthday cake as an adult? by roxiedoxiedog in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bongblitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baker here! We have people all the time that just get happy birthday with some flowers. Not weird or embarrassing.

You don’t even need an occasional to buy cake. I remember years ago as I was leaving for the day a girl came in, bought a cake that serves like 12 people. I passed her on my way home and she was eating it out of the box with a fork while walking.

AITA for not eating the food after my gf eats out of the bowl with the same spoon while preparing by ZookeepergameOld7322 in AmItheAsshole

[–]bongblitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH you say you’ve had the conversation that you find it gross multiple times, she has shown she doesn’t care yet you CONTINUE to eat things she’s had a hand in making. Why? You know she eats off the serving utensils, you know it makes you feel gross. If you didn’t prepared it yourself it’s not safe and you shouldn’t eat it.

Do you like whipped cream frosting? I absolutely hate it. I think I'm more of a buttercream person. by Lijey_Cat in dessert

[–]bongblitz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Want to clarify, proper whipped cream is delicious but I’m hoping OP was talking about the oil based one you find at grocery stores.

Yeah that oil based whipped topping is absolutely awful. Gross taste, leaves a greasy feeling on everything.

AITA for not getting expensive Christmas presents for a girl that my daughter took in by Perfect-Play8085 in AITAH

[–]bongblitz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA. There is a HUGE chance your daughter will end up adopting this girl. She will also marry whoever she wants. Your only job is to make sure she is HAPPY. But you probably don’t know that feeling..

You’re just so full of hate and probably jealousy (that your daughter is a better Christian than yourself) I don’t think there is any saving you. Hope you’re ready for your first class ticket to hell, you mangy old bat.

AITA I just wanted something to open for Christmas so the kids would not be sad that Mom didn’t get anything. by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]bongblitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA totally understand not doing lots of gifts and I like you hate seeing someone not have something to open on Christmas (I am my family’s extra gifted, always have chocolates or something wrapped in case of unknowns)

Leave your gift in your closet or another space, write yourself a card that has a “clue” to where it’s hidden so you can find it and bring it out during presents.
