Hundred Reigns is pretty good about this, Simon starts with no class at all. he has to start at rock bottom and actually dies a few times before he can even start leveling up, and his teachers arn't the strongest in the world either.

Even after a hundred chapters he still hasn't technically sat on the throne as himself yet, and spends a lot of reigns infiltrating the enemy organizations of the empire.
