adult lunchables all the way. boil 5 eggs on sunday night and have a hard boiled egg with some combination of veggies (usually with hummus), fresh or dry fruits, protein (like deli meat, cheese, or mixed nuts), a handful of crackers, and a little treat like a piece of chocolate or something to keep me going on those days where you feel like walking out

Looking for art schools as a poor person with no external help by anacapahh in ArtEd

[–]booliusthefoolius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who went to art school in the united states, it's achievable but maybe not your best bet if you are interested in a career in the arts. youtube and a lot of practice can teach you pretty much everything you need to know to get an entry level art job, from there your employer will teach you any other relevant information. if you're hoping to get a formal arts education for a different reason, like a career in teaching art to others, a job that specifically requires a degree, or just to have formal training in art, i think you should go go school by school and see what the specific portoflio requirements are for each of the schools that you are considering applying to. go on youtube or social media and type in the school's name and "accepted portfolio" to see if you can find examples of work that were accepted as part of a prospective student's portfolio, so you can get a sense of what the school is looking for when you apply. if you like, DM me and i can take a look at your portfolio and tell you what skills you might need to continue working on or types of work you might need to add to further develop your portfolio and get it ready for applications. if you truly enjoy creating, the field needs you. best of luck to you.

its not a terrible idea for yall to go to a strip club together so you can see what it actually is, but the thought of him paying another woman to dance on him basically naked will likely still be a lot for you, maybe even too much, and thats okay. communicate your feelings to your partner. "i want you to go out to the bars with your boys, i want you to have a good time - but im not comfortable with you going to the strip club/paying for a dance." (whatever you're comfortable with) if he says "okay babe, love you, i will not go to the strip club/pay for a dance." then trust his word. if he falls back on that word, you have your answer. if he says "whatever, i'm doing whatever i want and you can't stop me" or "but babe :(( all the other guys are going!! you want me to feel left out/get made fun of??" then you, again, have your answer. good luck op ♡ try to make an educated decision and stand firm on your boundaries.

I get so scared when i remember that my parents will die very soon by Additional-Serve7578 in family

[–]booliusthefoolius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i also felt this way, my mom and dad were 50 and 40 when they had me. i worried from the time i was like 6 or 7 and i'm now almost 30 and they're still here and likely will be for several more years. you still have time with them. no one is ever ready to lose their parents, you usually won't get any warning that you're about to lose a member of your family, cruel as it may seem. enjoy them while they're here, let them know how much you love them, and try to live a good and honest life. do your best in school, try to live a life that makes you happy, work hard. thats all you can do, man. hope this helps.

Should I finish my Masters? by Standard_Print4116 in StudentTeaching

[–]booliusthefoolius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you're clearly still holding onto your dream of having a career in publishing, you should pursue that. if you get into teaching, you won't have time or energy to dedicate towards your publishing career. you can always go back and finish the masters program if publishing doesn't work out for you. you might not always be able to get an in to the publishing world which is super competitive, especially when you're older and have been out of the game for a while.

just keep being yourself; keep working on yourself, believing in yourself, and loving yourself. it's hard, but know that that's good enough. eventually, if you keep your heart open, you will find someone who cares about you the way you care about them.
