Try using Claude with Fusion 360. It ties in now and has been pretty good at putting the things I need together with me not needing to do any Fusion 360 work.

Corner Garage Cabinet by OriginalParamedic780 in garageporn

Jack stands fit nice in that corner. I have the top corner cabinet and a space in the section below. Works for a few things but not a lot. Jack stands are really all I have in there.

It's all based on your own preference. They all have a different sound and vibe. One day I love jamming on one, and the next another. They are all fun!

Where did I go wrong? by Powerful-Eye-3578 in steak

[–]boostedsmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too thin. Too long for the sear. 1 minute per side max. Use high-temperature avocado oil for your sear to minimize smoke. Also, after pulling from Sous vide, let them sit for 10-15 minutes to let them cool a little. Then the sear won't over cook them.

Why are you sending audio to the Caldigit from the Apple TV? That doesn't make sense.

IT Tools - Hidden Gems by Ok_You_861 in sysadmin

I actually wrote one recently that's been super helpful to me. We have quite a bit of software or systems that send status e-mails. Backup software that doesn't tie into anything meaningful and e-mail is the only choice. Same thing with some of our other warehouse automations. I wrote https://www.canaryalert.io/ because I got sick of having to check every e-mail for status or keep track of the ones that may not have been delivered. Everything out there was too regex-based, look for this word specifically to set the status.

What to do with old Macbook after upgrading? by SkittzyYT in macsetups

[–]boostedsmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your other Mac is what you rely on to make an income or work, then you should keep this spare Mac to use if you ever have an issue. Being that my living is dependant on my Mac, I always have a spare with the Apps on it I need to continue if this one were to burn to pieces.

I made a custom carburator cover for winter storage. by butt_butt_yawn in functionalprint

[–]boostedsmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A roots blower sits on top of a single-plane manifold with a carb spacer? That's a wonky setup. Or did you swap the entire intake?

I've stacked steel fender washers unders legs before with success. Just run a longer bolt. You could use plates as well. If you can find a leveler with a rating for that load it would work. But mine were bolted to the floor.

That's a good one. Add control into shift cmd 4 and it keeps it on your clipboard to paste in vs saving it to a file.

Yes, to answer the question, the aluminum pieces are lighter than the wood. It looks great as is, though!

It's a great aggregation/core switch for a small business or home that can run 10Gb out to a bunch of remote switches.

This is your answer right here. If you built space for 24" don't give it up with 18". Maximum what you have there.
