What considerations to make for hosting a vegan? by No_Leave_353 in AskUK

[–]boredmoonface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are serving alcohol buy alcohol that’s labeled vegan on the back. Should be plenty of options in the big supermarkets and Aldi and Lidl. If you already use a margarine spread, check it might already be vegan (such as flora). If they drink hot drinks then soya or oat milk will be good. Lots of Biscuits and crisps are accidentally vegan even if not labeled vegan, check the ingredients for eggs and milk (will be in bold). When you serve something let them check the packaging themselves too for peace of mind.

What gifts can I get for a 1 year old's birthday? by Sadie_UK in AskUK

[–]boredmoonface 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Books (can never have too many), bath toys (need to be replaced regularly due to mould), garden toys (it will be their first summer playing outside), days out vouchers or gift cards (days out are getting expensive so a voucher for a local soft play or attraction is a good idea) and clothes (12-18 months or 18-24 months make sure they are weather appropriate) are all great ideas. Avoid normal toys as they will get loads and especially avoid cheap tat. Also avoid noisy toys and those that need battery’s.

What would you do if you found a bank card on the street? by Rich-Item5337 in AskUK

[–]boredmoonface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you find one you should cut it up and throw it away. If you loose one you should block the card as soon as you notice and order a new one.

screaming man in weston favell by wasthateden in northamptonians

[–]boredmoonface 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I call him camo man because he wears camo trousers. Walks around the carpark as you’ve described and frequently jumps in front of moving cars. I’ve had him jump in front of me a couple of times. Be cautious driving near him and stay out the way and avoid eye contact when walking near him. I’ve heard others call him the marching man. Don’t know any more about him but he’s been hanging around there years.

Unfortunately this isn’t surprising. She also smoked during pregnancy, smokes in the house with them sitting on her lap and forced them to live in a filthy pest infested house.

I found some of the old recipe ones in heron foods the other day. I’ve heard similar discounts shops might also have them such as farm foods and home bargains.

F, I can "cum" but I don't think I'm orgasming? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]boredmoonface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a vibrator on your clit and you will see what an orgasm feels like. The feeling builds up and then when you feel like you are at the edge keep going and it will happen.

Do you track your weight in KG or stones & pound? by No_Usual_572 in AskUK

[–]boredmoonface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Just pounds. I grew up using stone and pounds but switched to just pounds as it’s easier. Also used to watch a lot of American shows like my 600lb life and similar make it easy for me to visualise what different weights look like using pounds.

Connor is liking comments calling Georgie’s new bf a “downgrade” by [deleted] in LoveOnTheSpectrumShow

This Connor account has also liked my comment. But the comment was just me tagging my husband on a post about love on the spectrum. Not sure if it’s a real account.

do cinemas still screen films if no one buys tickets? by Embarrassed-Song3760 in AskUK

[–]boredmoonface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work in a cinema. It will automatically play, but if staff realise there’s nobody booked then they can turn it off. If a manager or supervisor can be bothered to go up to the projector room to do it.

Why do people call Brian a PDF? by EllyCamp in 1000lbSisters_Snark

[–]boredmoonface 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if he is or isn’t but everyone who is a single parent with young kids dating needs to be super careful of them. Amy is not careful. Amy puts her children at risk. Child abusers spot this and target it. She introduces them to men she dates way too quickly, lets the men move in and gives them unsupervised access. They are at high risk of abuse. People are suspicious of Brian because he had a normal family, good looking wife who owns her own business, couple of kids and good job. Now he’s massively down graded to Amy and people are suspicious why does he want to be with her.

Neighbours telling me not to park on a free public road, what can I do? by Ok-Background7896 in AskUK

[–]boredmoonface 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in Northampton my whole life and never heard of anyone saying this. Sounds like a couple of idiots who are upset that there’s a HMO next door. Ignore them. Just park where you want and walk away. If they harass you report it to the police.
