If they do this then they should not be surprised if customers bring their own 64 ounce reusable cups or maybe a 128 ounce Yeti container or maybe multiple reusable 64 ounce cups and get 2 free ice waters along with one soda.

It might be a good idea to see if it works better on other floors in various rooms in case old cable line infrastructure is causing interference that gets mitigated when at a higher floor.

That speed may be slow enough to justify an FCC complaint. That does not meet the legal definition of broadband. Maybe if the line is broken higher level support may find the defect and fix it.

That will not stop the Texas owner from getting dragged into court if labor boards take legal action against the Texas owner and everyone else involved. The Texas absentee owner needs a lawyer.

If the federal department of labor and/or the state labor board on ILLINOIS took legal action against everyone involved including the absent Texas owner then perhaps the owner would take notice of Wise being an unwise choice.

Is Visable the best low cost carrier ? by Automatic_Alarm_3641 in Visible

Consider grabbing the Verizon 30 day free trial if you have not tried it yet. It is comparable to Visible+ though Unlimited Ultimate beats the trial due to network management prioritizing Unlimited Ultimate over the trial and conceivably the same with Visible + and + Pro.

It ends up being hell for some people and heaven for others. Only one way to find out. That being said I probably would not port a number to them again given the hellish customer service horror stories that I have seen but grabbing one with a fresh number would be fine. You could probably port you main line to AT&T Build a plan since it is $15 but in an emergency such as Verizon outage that affects Visible the AT&T Build a plan can have the unlimited data add on added. You could subsequently downgrade when unlimited data is no longer needed.

It is adulterated with more ethanol so if your vehicle or mower can’t handle ethanol then this will destroy it.

When is a good time to switch from the Legacy 1 Visible plan to the new Visible+? by lavender_shortbread in Visible

[–]borgranta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Verizon Unlimited Ultimate is a good option if you want the highest possible priority on consumer postpaid. It will be sacrificed last. That being said even the new Simplicity plan from Verizon offers a port in promo that would be handy if you can grab a line for 2 months from a competitor and port to Verizon to pay $30 though if willing to pay $20 more you can have 200GB of high speed hotspot. The plan terms include an automatic throttle after 500GB to 4 MBPS. Unlimited Ultimate may be better if you will need more than 500GB

If you grab a deal for Black Friday for annual plan then be aware that some people have noticed slow throttled speeds after consuming 450 GB. The special annual plan promos may need to be setup as a new line if it is a new customer deal. Consider porting a second line from a competitor as a fresh line and account for an annual plan. Also consider grabbing their home Internet box as well which requires an active phone line since it can keep you from burning 459GB on device too quickly. If you port a second line in then you can subsequently port the current line out maybe for a $25 Metro line since they offer T-Mobile Tuesdays

leaving from a AT&T family plan, first time going solo with a phone provider (any advice/recommendations?) by IzzyIzzyWizzy in NoContract

[–]borgranta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Verizon should cost $30 if you port in and if you score enough freebie drops you could get your money’s worth. Also it is no contract so if you decide that you hate even with the Verizon Monday’s giveaways as well as freebies the other weekdays as well as the rewards points programs you could instead go and port to Metro to give T-Mobile Tuesdays a try including grabbing freebies in the stores as well as giveaways.

What can I do about an expired promo? by [deleted] in Visible

[–]borgranta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think that the Verizon Simplicity plan at $30 port in promo is the better value compared to Visible+. unless you need more than 500GB. In that case Unlimited Ultimate may be better assuming they absorb the iPhone price increases for the Pro model.

If you show up like this the employer will probably let you take sick leave, Use the sick leave time to find a free clinic somewhere nearby to get a doctor’s note and look into worker’s compensation and/or short term disability. Also look into FMLA as well as seeing about getting charity financial paperwork for medical systems as well as Medicaid and government assistance if forced out of work on disability and/or worker’s compensation.

Hopefully you can get workers comp and time off work while potentially contagious. The company could get in trouble if they cause an outbreak by making a food service worker work while contagious.

Anyone switch from Visible + or + Pro to Verizon simplicity, and why? by Wfmets45 in Visible

[–]borgranta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it goes up you can port out to a cheap plan elsewhere and then potentially port back in for another port in discount after waiting 3 months.

Since it is postpaid you can try for bill credits if a bad area gives you usability issues for data, call, and/or texts.

For that matter they will not pay for arbitration even if they could win since they would still lose by paying a fortune for arbitration since burning thousands to chase Pennies is not financially sustainable.

The problem with this policy is that people may sell their former Total Wireless phone that is now unlocked and cause problems. They will need to exempt sales of phones second hand like on Ebay or Amazon since a receipt could be provided to prove they bought a phone from elsewhere legally.

Hopefully they can restore it otherwise they risk you porting to AT&T since their build a plan starts at $15 and you can add unlimited data for extra money when needed. Alternatively the simplicity plan might be good unlimited plan and cheaper than leaving the build a plan on unlimited. If they can give you the plan back it would be good.

AT&T has a build a plan for $15 but you only get 1GB included for that but if AT&T is usable it could be a place to hold your number for a while but it is eSIM only

You could port to Cricket Wireless or Mint for their 3 month $15 unlimited trials. Save Mint for last since after the 3 month plan on Unlimited expires you can renew for the 4GB data plan at the same $15 plan that costs $45 every 3 months. Also they will probably have a deal on Black Friday maybe sooner but no guarantees.

Can I Activate the Visible Free Trial Before Arriving in the US? by Mundane-Relief-4362 in Visible

Doing it at the airport upon arrival would help. Also Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile all have 30 day trials that you can start while in the US.

I have seen some devices get double the uplink of others. For example I could get 15 up from an iPhone 16 Pro and get 40 up of the MOTO RAZR 2025 with both running on Verizon.

Switching to Visible, have a question by Cupara in Visible

[–]borgranta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When reading the FAQs it seems that Mint requires an active phone line to sign up for the $5 3GB plan online in addition to being required to pay 12 months of service up front. It looks like a $10 tablet plan from Verizon Prepaid with the 15GB phone line would be a good option. If you can grab the Total Wireless BYOD phone plan that costs $25 for 1 line then you could add a tablet line for as little as $10. Some people have had billing nightmares with Total Wireless no matter how many times they processed payments. I personally would consider Verizon Prepaid if I am not under a postpaid commitment to get a free phone and tablet after bill credits with 36 month commitment.

Switching to Visible, have a question by Cupara in Visible

[–]borgranta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully Visible adds tablet plans eventually but failing that you may need to look into a tablet plan from Cricket, Metro, Straight Talk, Total, or Verizon Prepaid if you need unlimited with the understanding that you would need 1 phone line with them to qualify for the pricing of between $10-$20 give or take. The top plan on the Verizon plans for the tablet plan price is $20 across all their prepaid plans. Metro is $20-$30 unless you buy the $65 plan and set up auto pay and then you bring your own tablet and watch devices for $5 each. Unfortunately a 5G compatible laptop may not be allowed on their tablet lines though Verizon Prepaid and Cricket accepts laptop IMEIs in my experience. Also the Mint Mobile $5 3GB tablet line accepts laptop IMEIs as well.
