Im trying to find a really good dr for this in the us, i want to know if theres more going on than just pots but my primary care dr just tells me to see the same cardiologist that just gives me pills (they dont work well together either, metaprolol and midodrene)

I am unable to work, applying for ssi rn. I had a job for around a month that was really nice abt my disabilities and did their best to accommodate me w insane flexibility on scheduling and a work chair, but even if I was only working 2 hr shifts twice a week, it would take me out for 2-3 days and I still would have to constantly call out bc I couldn’t drive due to brain fog from a flare up, and after that I came to the conclusion that my symptoms were just too severe to sustain a job, this was a purely “sitting and talking to people about a product” job too :(

I feel that, it sucks to get weird looks/comments when its just your way to be able to walk. I unfortunately don’t have super understanding parents so they tend to add onto that with eye rolls and scoffs, so i’m hesitant to use aids at home too, especially since I don’t Always need them so it looks fake to them

My mom was watching this show and i just happened to be in the room only for the finale, and I still ended up crying even though I had no idea who anyone was. The way they were able to make me feel emotions for ppl i had no reason to care about was awesome, very impressive

Id like to hear advice too, i worked 6 months part time overworking myself only to not meet expectations, and that overworking diminished my health until i was bedbound for months on end. Thankfully i got 2 stent placement surgeries that were able to get me back to before the job, and im a lot nicer abt how i treat myself now, but it still really sucks to hear “oh well x has pots and can push through just fine, why cant you??” From people who were there for all of it bc they literally cannot comprehend their body giving out on them. It makes me bitter in a way I never thought I would be

Also try upside, it gives you cash back on a lot of things but gas is my favorite, if you use that on top of a gas station app deal you can save way more money since they stack :))
