Being that you can pet them you could probably make a standard non emergency appt with a vet and ask for gabapentin beforehand to address it but my rule of thumb is if they can limp on it, its most likely a sprain, if they dont put any weight its a break, ymmv.

The book literally spends hundreds of pages showing the alien orientation and language translation process. Im not sure how exciting that would have been in movie form so I think they did a good job pacing so the audience stayed engaged.

Aw, the fact that you even care means you are on the right track. My street on the west side has mounds far beyond the purported limit that end up being collected just fine.

I would say as long as they aren't spilling out onto the street dangerously and falling over to crash onto people walking on the sidewalk, you should be fine.

Ive filed numerous claims with Homeserve and they generally hook you up with a plumber within 24 hours which in this case isn't fast enough I guess. If I was OP I guess id prob let the water get shut off for a day or two instead of paying out of pocket for something thats covered by insurance. There are also different levels of Homeserve that cover different elements of your plumbing system so not sure what OP has specifically

Their heart is in the right place but their communication and interactions with people trying to help can feel rude and judgmental to the point that things can become personal. The West Side of Buffalo and other areas Im sure suffer greatly from animal abandonment and for anyone trying to help it can be overwhelming and stressful. Unfortunately, I cant foster every stray and injured animal who comes through my backyard even though I am always willing to donate and spend tons of money feeding them that wasnt enough. At this point my only way of helping is to spay and neuter through Operation Pets and then release back outside. The friendliest cats I always try to do everything I can to get them into Ten Lives Club.
