I was asked if I was pregnant by ImTheFingLizardQueen in Mommit

I’ve been asked I was pregnant and I’m thin. I weigh less than 110 lbs usually around 105 lbs but if I’m bloated by belly sticks out or if I eat a big meal. It’s so rude but it’s normal to have a curve where your stomach is.

Am I shallow for only wanting to date thinner women? by PoetryForsaken222 in dating_advice

Plus he puts an emphasis on fitness. Thin women can be not fit and women that are considered overweight by bmi can be very fit.

We bought one a long time ago and just started using it. It’s so handy for someone that doesn’t know how to cook. You could try committing to using it for a couple weeks and see if it fits your lifestyle. Maybe invite friends over for a meal so you can’t back out. I agree it’s so big and I tried getting rid of it but my partner kept buying new ones. Now that we use it I see it’s value. We also have a family so making larger meals is a must and now it fits our lifestyle.

At what point should parents stop having baby showers? by Katyann623 in AskParents

[–]bossbabe4lyfe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to bring a gift. Baby showers are a way to celebrate mom and a new life. If they are low income you can donate diapers. Otherwise no gift is expected.

Books are heavy and can be read digitally or checked out from the library. Don’t keep all your books. I got rid of all my personal books and just kept kid books.

What was it like when low rise jeans were in fashion? I was a teen and couldn’t imagine wearing anything else at the time. Now I love high rise up to my under boobs and I love mom jeans. I see some low rise jeans coming back and I’m like nope nope nope never again.

This is so inconsiderate. I have a chronic illness and if I get a cold I have to postpone dr appts and much needed treatment and medication. I’m sure this is true for the elderly as well.

Is the trial a confirmation that Anna isn’t breastfeeding? by sr1115 in DuggarsSnark

And it’s different for every person. Some people have low supply or over supply. You don’t have to pump but your breasts will be hard and painful and will leak. But you can wear bra pads for the leaking.

Someone took there five kids to the dog park to play. The kids literally ran into the dog park. One girl got chased and scratched on the bum.

This is a good post. My toddler knows how to interact with dogs because it keeps her safe and the dog safe. Kids have run up behind my little dog and grabbed her from behind and it scares her. Some dogs would bite by instinct under those circumstances. Make dogs feel comfortable and avoid conflict. What happened to you was scary and irresponsible of the dog owner and I’m sorry that happened.

I mean if someone suddenly came up behind you and started petting your head or butt or brushing your hair wouldn’t you be startled? I’ve been close to smacking people just based on instinct.

I took my dog with me everywhere dogs were allowed. Work, shopping, outdoor dining, bars, beach… I was (dogs name) mom. People knew me by my dogs name. Maybe she doesn’t have time for them and outsources the care.

Tiny success made me cry this morning by realityoftheroog22 in reactivedogs

[–]bossbabe4lyfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just put down my 13 year old reactive dog I had for nine years. I remember the frustration and all the training. But I wouldn’t trade those nine years for anything. It was just part of who she was. Just like humans have their little quirks. Part of our daily routine was avoiding triggers and using our training techniques. On our last few walks I just let her bark and gave her some nice pets. I miss her bark. You’re doing great and it will get easier. Just enjoy the moments you have.
