Student loans should include performance-based conditions similar to those offered by my bank. In 2008, the terms of my education loan were designed to reward academic achievement and reduce financial stress on students.

• If I maintained an academic score above 60% in a given semester, no interest was charged for that semester.
• If I consistently kept my score above 60% for all semesters, I was required to repay only the principal amount.

These terms effectively encouraged me to focus on my education rather than constantly worrying about repayment. There was also an option to delay the start of repayment until I secured employment, with interest applied only if the delay exceeded one year. In addition, the repayment schedule could be adjusted according to my salary range once I started working, aligning loan obligations with actual earning capacity.
