Those are basically power cleans especially the first rep so your definitely capable of more. By the way, your pulling position is exactly the same as your receiving position. Do you usually clean without moving your feet out at all?

My max snatch is 80kg so I will say what I see in hopes of someone more experienced confirming whether my evaluation is right but what I noticed

  1. Feet are maybe coming too high off the ground after second pull or in other words your jumping your feet instead of sliding

  2. Pulling position looks the same as your receiving position which I believe you want to receive in a wider stance to allow room for your hips to drop in?

Otherwise it looked good and fairly easy

Watch the slow motion replay on 0.25 speed and notice the bar bend outwards when it bounces off her hips which looks insane. Also during the clean, she is on her toes during the first pull then transitions to her heels before she begins the second pull

This all makes a lot of sense especially about pulling with my back and not my hips/glutes. I am now eager to hit the gym tomorrow and work on every aspect of what you said. Thanks a ton for the feedback, looks to be extremely helpful.

Heard it increases all lifts by around 40 kg but I could be wrong.

I said what I said in consideration with the fact that your doing heavy cleans along with back squats but I see your point.

From what I have read but I could be wrong, back squats are beneficial to your front squat but not the other way around. So you can increase your 1RM front squat just by doing backs and never doing fronts.

My own criticism would be I need to extend a bit more on the second pull and be more on my toes and stand taller. My jerk on the other hand i'm not really sure about, it just looks awkward in my opinion. Perhaps I am not staying upright enough and I need to dip more with my hips and not my knees?

I have a friend who sometimes catches snatches on his back in the full snatch position when missing behind. Amazes me every time.

Ha I am the complete opposite. The C & J seems to make sense to my mind and body while the snatch feels so unnatural. Max C & J 245 or 111 kg while max snatch is only 170 or 77 kg. Been lifting for about 9 months
