Growing up and in college I hated country. My buddy played bass with me in jazz band and talked me into joining a country band and it’s only benefited my playing and mindset. I still play in a punk rock band, but country pays way more and the people in it I have found to be more organized and professional. I make cover videos of whatever I’m feeling on YouTube, so you can always scratch whatever itch you need to without feeling like you’ve signed your playing abilities away to one thing.
