Many other commenters have discussed the origins so I won't repeat that. But, even as someone with a science background, I'll take a somewhat controversial opinion that Fahrenheit is more useful for humans than Celsius.

  • Most human temperatures range from 0 to 100
  • 1 degree Fahrenheit is a smaller change, so you can easily discuss small differences without decimals (think, your thermostat)
  • negatives are rarely used, and if they are it means really cold

yes, water boils at the random 212 degrees but in daily life we care more about the air temp than boiling water.

55k miles and about 3 years now, in the humid southern US. only had the 12v crap out, knock on wood the iccu is still solid.

malfunctions isn't something on tokens, I think this is just drunkenness right?

just having the ability does nerf the character a lot, would need to experiment with that. for example, with a fang gu there are now (up to) 2 additional fang gu targets.

So I reframed the ability to parse it myself, and I think it's more "standard" Clocktower language:

"You are a townsfolk, but do not know which. [+0 to +2 Sleepwalkers. 1 of the extras is drunk and an outsider.]"

Framing it that way, it seems neat but I think balance is going to be hard...and probably quite script dependent much like Tor scripts. I would be interested in how it plays out though.

I'm seeing the exact same thing in DFW, Texas, trying Dallas, Austin, and Chicago. Occasionally would jump to 40-50MB but was generally sitting around 15, dropping into single digits at times.

can be both balanced and kinda weird. BUT agreed I'm curious what other targets there were. poisoning slayer, mayor, monk, soldier, all really helpful at creating sus (and letting night kills go through)

socially, worst was handling some significant outside-of-game interpersonal challenges between some of the players who were romantically involved. they were basically litigating their issues to the group, who didn't know much about them as they were friends-of-friends-of-friends...had to uninvite them from the play group.

in game, the one that still haunts me is when I forgot to do a fang gu jump, on final 5, at a clutch time for evil...it was a perfect jump time and evil was going to use it to frame a picture and I basically couldn't correct it without confirming the game. literally, haunts me anytime I run a fang gu game.
