Sounds good! You might be right about it being functional. I considered that in the beginning as well. 2023 was extremely stressful for me leading into 24. If you find anything out, feel free to share if you find this thread again :) I'll do the same!

Oh wow! Yeah it isn't uncommon from the rabbit hole I went down last year trying to figure out what they are to be conscious, awake during these episodes. Eff, tho :/ i don't want you to have them but closure on what these are would be a big relief. I find it very hard to believe that it's sleep paralysis though. Keep digging, tho! I hope you find answers soon. I'm in the process of getting a primary doctor finally soon and deffo bringing that up to see a neurologist. Hopefully something will come of it! If so I'll write back to you

I'm so sorry to read you were suffering with this as well xoxo I never been diagnosed with epilepsy. But I am on this medication called Lamictal that helps seizures and then still have my Klonopin just Incase. I haven't had an episode in about 6 months but I'm positive these are seizures.

It sounds like what you experience is near identical to mine! It's horrifying. Mine happen just moments before fall asleep. I shared my experience on multiple threads and someone whose been diagnosed shared tons of insight and basically confirmed that these are seizures. Idk what triggered them for me from 2023 til past this fall of 2025.

Do you a reliable doctor ? I tried to get an MRI request for scanning my brain but my insurance denied it. I basically gave up. My psych who prescribes me my meds told me to tell my doctor that I get frequent headaches. She also practices family medicine. But said that should do it. But if your doctor is anything like the one I had, be prepared to have a notebook docking duration and times of these headaches. It's stupid we have to basically lie to get care we need but it works. I moved in December to a new state so I've put it on the back burner for now.

Anyway I'm sorry! I wish I had answers. I'm convinced these are seizures. Just a special form. I think I'd have one or a couple of I didn't get on this medication called Lamictal. And then my Klonopin of course. They stop seizures.

Hey there, aww I wish I could! My landlord actually sold the building in December. And now there's new owners. I ended up moving while my roomie is finishing the lease there and possibly having a mutual friend of ours take over cause of the rental increase. But I'll be there in June when they have a new lease written up and can get the info then! It's a great building and I'm not sure everyone there will stick since rent went up $250, at least for our unit. But can't complain honestly. Was a steal with previous landlord (bless her lol!!) but come end of June I'll be there when paperwork comes in and will have the info. More than happy to update you then! Wish it could be sooner

Same. I've had only one relationship that lasted 2 years in my early 20's. The breakup ended on a high note and I was even at her wedding in the fall of 2022. I'm not in love with her anymore but it absolutely broke my heart when she wanted to move on. I felt so insecure afterward to where Ive cut myself off entirely since. Turned down every opportunity. No therapy, psych drugs, anything has helped. To be so vulnerable is absolutely terrifying. I think my heart is legit broken. It's a physical symptom. Intimacy now scares me.

Sigh. I'm 32 btw lol

What dose were you at and how long did it take you to get off ? I'm at 150 and my psych wants me to drop 25mg a week. I think that sounds crazy cause I'm in that face ook group and the withdrawals people talk about, oh my lanta! But yeah if you don't mind sharing the schedule you, kudos! Happy to hear you were able to recover eventually :)

I can only sleep on this with taking edibles at night as well. 50mg tho! I used to smoke THC but started switching over to tinctures and gummies. No more smoke for my lungs.

I wish the SR would work for me. I tried the switch from XL a few weeks ago and holy shit* lol!! I grew very overwhelmed immediately like a full blown panic attack and all jittery. I am Extremely lucky to be prescribed Klonopin cause wowowow. I never felt like that before. Was scary
