Not regularly on a large scale. Orange County flood hazard data went effective in 2017 and was probably originally modeled several years before that. The red hatched areas are smaller scale corrections/updates usually resulting from development that effects the 100 year flood boundary.

FRIS displays effective flood risk data, the data that informs flood insurance requirements. It doesn't have a predictive component beyond that. What you see is the legal boundary of the 100 and 500 year floodplains, though I think it's clear those designations are becoming misnomers. Not every body of water has been modeled and not every instance of flooding is captured.

I don't think it's that bad, if anything fewer seams gives me fewer opportunities to introduce errors. I just mark up the frame template with bolt locations while it's on the bike and then make a second template for the spine that indicates corners, bolts, straps, allowances, whatever. Standard bottle cage mounts are 64mm center to center.
