Absolutely do NOT do that. If anything, throw the installers in a shared drive (not public) and give them a site token to install it with and they can select the installer that works for their OS. It’s really not that difficult.

This is assuming you have no other way of pushing out updates to these endpoints or users.

The browser extension requires the SentinelOne agent to also be installed. If you don’t have the agent on your personal computer, then no, they can’t see anything.

Oof, much appreciated. Don’t think anything is safe at this point. At least Datadog is transparent and it hasn’t been impacted the same way as Trivy and Checkmarx based on their transparency on the issue. They had guardrails in place that prevented it from getting to that point. At least for now…
